“The apartment was well equipped so we were able to prepare several meals. Had trouble trying to navigate the TV and on several occasions the program dropped out and we had to work our way through to begin again (lack of instructions on what to do!). Parking was expensive and because we had to book online were not able to access the cheaper version available (apparently) only with an app. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lady (Daisy) at the Wharf Office was very helpful.”

“The loft is spacious and super comfy. It is well appointed and we loved the full kitchen and lounge. Loads of nearby restaurants. We parked at the Victoria St carpark overnight, which was reasonable on the weekend rate ($18 I think). The carpark is almost directly across the road.”

“Accommodation and amenities as described. However, I was expecting a machine dryer, but it was actually drying rack for clothes, so something to think about when planning your washing. Just noting, elderly parents found armchairs too low for comfortable seating, also a tripping hazard of step between dining area to rest of living area, it tripped us up a few times, till we got used to it. Sarah was quick to respond to any issues and was very helpful. We relaxed and chilled out here for a couple...

“The hotel is clean and have very good and friendly staff. But it is listed as an VIP/gold hotel and they don’t follow the gold/VIP benefits. As for upgrading the room they say it is not included even though you are a gold member. So they should not have the VIP/gold statues as hotel on hotels.com. The beds are a bit uncomfortable and gave me pain after some days. But they are good for a night or two. Very close to central Auckland, lying next to queen street. It does not have a dryer as it is...
