Villor i Petite Martinique

“Listing was accurate and had a gorgeous view from the deck but we ran into some issues during our stay: 1) we couldn't find the property even though we clicked the "Get Directions" directly from VRBO that dropped GPS coordinates. We were way on the other side of the mountain and it took almost an hour to find. 2) Our toilet didn't work during our stay. They refunded us a portion of the money but at the end of the day, there was no toilet for us to use for 3 days/2 nights, 3) it was pretty warm....

“The staff are very friendly and respectful, the services is excellent. As for the property, the shower did not work properly, there was no cold water in the shower, the water was scorching hot. Too much light coming in to the rooms at night because the drapes are hanging too low under the arch window. This can be remedied with new drapes to hang above the arch window ”

“I arrived to find I was the only guest at this hotel. The facilities are ok, but not fantastic. the location is beautiful, and isolated. I arrived with a normal size motorboat from Petite St. Vincent, and the jetty was not working properly so they had to send a small boat all around the island to transfer me the last 50 meters to shore. The food was nicely cooked Caribbean style, even if it feels a bit lonely to be the only guest. The pool is saltwater, so why not swim in the sea instead? The...

“We stayed at the Mermaid Beach Hotel over the Christmas period. Jude our host was wonderful and I cannot speak more highly of her. However, we were very disappointed with the property itself. We booked this hotel as it was advertised that it included a beachside restaurant and bar. However, this was not the case and the hotel restaurant and bar was shut the entirety of our stay (except for when they opened for a private corporate Christmas party that went until 2am).
