The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and nestled in the Skyline Forest area of Monterey. The roads and driveways can be steep, but the views are amazing. “Location was close to downtown. Unit needs a deep cleaning - floors, fridge, coffeemaker, etc. Towels smelled musty and there was no washcloth. There isn't alot a pots and pans, if you're planning to your own cooking.”

“We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay.
