“The place that we stayed in was cute, it got a bit chilly at night in the front room area, there wasn’t any heat . It was nice and quiet . They originally didn’t give us the cottage that was was advertised online , but when I returned to the front desk and showed them the picture of the cottage we were supposed to have,they did give us that one We enjoyed our stay ”

“The property was beautiful, well equipped with everything needed and so very pleasant. The outside gardens and deck made it feel all the more spacious. “The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space.”

“We really enjoyed the accommodations and the amenities (hot tub, yard with table and chairs, hot water, nearby hiking trails, TV, etc). The owners really made our day by leaving a bottle of champaign. Don't know if that was a gift from the previous renters, but either way it was appreciated! Highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.”

“The location and views could not have been better. The communication with the property manager was excellent. The house is well worn and dated. I think the listing should make it clear that with the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, there is only one bathroom, and while the primary is the only bedroom upstairs, there are 2 full baths upstairs. With that being said, we had a great time. Thank you. ”

“Corola the property manager was amazing. The power had gone out in the area right before we got there, she was going to get us lanterns but it came back on so we called and let her know. Unfortunately the power only stayed on for 15 mins and then went back out the rest of the night. We disnt want to bother Corola to come out with the hope the power would come back on. Overall the property is very nice and bed was comfortable. Will need to visit again so we can really enjoy it more with power...
