“This is not a small family run boutique hotel where you quickly get to know staff and other guests. On the contrary this is a huge hotel with more facilities than you need. We appreciated the spacious rooms and the terrace overlooking the majestic Eiger, the big lounge by the fire place, the sunterrace and of course the pool. The hotel is at the upper end of the main village road just opposite the First cable car station and a few minutes walk downhill to most other hotels and restaurants....

“The place is located directly next to the trainstation so very convenient to reach. The building and rooms are new and in great shape. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety.”

“I would not stay here again nor recommend this to anyone else. Thankfully, I only stayed two nights. It looks like a converted parking house, you can hear everything from the corridors and neighbouring rooms. There are gangs of young people drinking, smoking and shouting on the street this hotel is located on which makes it very loud. The room has no daylight and if you wish to shower in warm water you need to run the water for 5-10minutes in advance. ”
