“Here's a few things to know in advance: 1.) The twin beds do NOT exist. It is a full size bed. Two of us had to share a bed and that was NOT part of the plan. We had enough beds for each of us to have our own bed, according to the online description. That was not the case. 2.) We are from Louisiana. We are used to humidity and heat. “My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. “We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. This is my third trip to Tybee Island and I enjoyed this house the best. The house was SPOTLESS!! It is also the best stocked of ANY vacation rental I have stayed in any where. There were no problems with the house so the only time I had to talk with the owners was to tell them it was still standing after Hurricane Helene...

“I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!)
