We tried to enjoy our stay, but numerous issues were inescapable and caused serious frustration.The morning of, the property manager warned me of a leak. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. “Exactly as pictured! Charming comfortable place! Beds were very comfortable and the pillows also very comfortable. Loved the large kitchen with fridge with ice and water dispenser! Loved the firepit and seating! About 6 blocks from lake and huge park for kids!”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s a short walk to the beach or very short drive to downtown, but the house is enough on its own! It’s got plenty of space for families, and the back yard is perfect for anyone- green space to play (our dog also loved- and its fenced), fire pit, and hot tub. “The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it. ”

“Our group of eight, mostly sisters who came to stay to celebrate my sister's upcoming wedding. We ranged in ages from 30 to 62 and this location offered something for everyone. The home is newly restored and has been painstakingly and gorgeously finished. You cannot ask for a nicer home, location, or finishes. The third floor kitchen with large rooftop deck was a highlight. There's even a power awning when you need a little shade. Views of the sunsets and sneak peeks of the lake. Morning walks...

“Great little lake house with all amenities needed! The kids, dogs, and adults all had a blast! The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed to cook while there! The outdoor grill is a nice bonus on the deck as well. Plenty of seating and space to eat outdoors. Game room and living room is also quite spacious and roomy.
