“From the moment we opened the door we were being taken care of from the welcome note to the delightful treats; everything was just what we had hoped for. Ease of access to the beautiful lake and all of South Haven; this was just what needed. ”

The public boat launch is only 10 minutes away. The cottage is dated but has a nice updated bathroom downstairs. Only a queen bed in the small downstairs bedroom made it kinda tight. The ceiling fan needed cleaned. Turned it and leading edge dust buildup blew on the bed. The stairs going to the upstairs bedrooms were small and...

Perfect for a family or two or a group of friends to stay here. Susan was very helpful with instructions for the spa/hot tub and information of local restaurants and places to see. “Not so easy finding a house that can comfortably accommodate 37 people with ages ranging from 8 months to 68 years but this one sure did. Very spacious with so many bedrooms and beds. Obviously the pool and hot tub were the high points but there were plenty of other things to do. Christie the manager was always on the ball to answer any questions that popped up. She was very accommodating as was Adam, the owner. We all had the greatest time.”

“We spent about a week at this lake house and it was so nice how thoughtful the owners are with items they left from seasonings and coffee in the kitchen to endless games for rainy days and my kids absolutely loved the paddleboard and kayak! We did rent the pontoon which ran very smoothly and was a lovely way to see the lake. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Todd was very easy to get ahold of and a great Host.i highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year! ”

“We had a great late fall getaway to South Haven & this house worked out great. The lower level is a great spot to hang out. The house was well stocked and clean. The owner was very responsive to our questions. ”

“This was my second stay at Grandpa's Cabin and absolutely loved it! I don't get to see my dad and brother as much as I'd like but we managed to get together for "deer camp". We used the cabin as a base for our nearby adventures and it was fabulous. Highly recommend. ”

“Wonderful location for walking to downtown and beaches! Home is comfortable and bright. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch. Hosts were helpful and kind. Be aware that you need to go up a flight of stairs to enter the house. It was not an issue for us but it could be a barrier to some. We would definitely stay here again!”
