“Boendet ligger centralt på promenadavstånd från de flesta av Reykjaviks sevärdheter. Det finns goda parkeringsmöjligheter. På den negativa sidan var rummet knappt städat. Efter att vi sa till om detta städades rummet igen och då blev det bättre. Vi hade ett av rummen under marknivå och det syntes att det varit en vattenläcka i rummet. Därför gick det inte att få en riktigt bra känsla. Bäddsoffan hade sett sina bästa dagar och hade hål i sig. ”

“The apartment was quite run down compared to how it looks on the pictures. There was something wrong with the ventilation - a construction error of the building? The windows were damp and plenty of mold grew around the windows. A glass pane was broken and repaired with duct tape. The apartment was filthy. By far the worst I have ever experienced in a similar establishment. Either the people paid to clean the apartment doesn't do their job properly or the management doesn't spend enough money to...

“Liked the location (esp. for seeing the new years eve fire works) and okay kitchen area. But the cons were quite big: expensive and small rooms, old and broken furniture, wi-fi did not work, dirty bed sheets, broken bathroom door, noisy. Also, we knew there would be no lobby with staff, but during our visit there was an incident/accident on the hotel where ambulance and several police cars showed up. In that instance a lobby staff would have brought some feeling of security or provided info......

“Friendly and helpful onsite staff, especially Gisli who looks after our needs and help resolve any issues. He is courteous, responsive and problem solving. Hotel location is excellent. washroom is small and tight. A bit of noise from street. Overall facilities are good. Will come back to this apartment hotel.”

“A very cozy place to stay. Cute town. The house was very warm (good for cold summers, not so great for a summer night). Wasn’t sure how to turn down the thermostat. WiFi worked great. Everything is explained in the handy-dandy notebook. Bring your own coffee/tea/sugar for the morning. The laundry at the local swimming pool charges 2500ISK for a load (?!?!).”

“The check in was a smooth and easy process. There was construction going on around the property on the road which made things confusing, created detour. The room was nice but when other people left or entered their room it was really loud as the sound would carry- to the point it sounded like they were accessing your room. People came and went throughout the night so it was loud with doors slamming whiling trying to sleep. It didn’t come with tea or coffee which was unfortunate but not a big...

“Bayview apartments was absolutely amazing! The inside feels like you’re living in luxury. It far exceeded my expectations and I plan to stay here again in the future with how great it was. Larus and his family were so inviting and ensured we had everything we needed. 5 stars is honestly not enough with how much my fiance and I loved this place. ”
