Efter upphämtning från en bekväm plats i centrala Seattle reser du i vår bekväma minibuss och lär dig allt om William Boeing och hans besatthet av flyg på väg till Boeing Factory i Everett WA, 35 miles norr om Seattle.

I Boeings monteringsfabrik tillverkas legendariska flygplan som 747, 777 och världens mest avancerade jetflygplan 787 Dreamliner. Du får möjlighet att lära dig mer om Boeings långa och mytomspunna historia, gå in i världens största byggnad för att se flygplan i olika stadier av montering och hänga på “Strato Deck” för att spana efter flygplan. I besöket ingår också Future of Flight Gallery som erbjuder intressanta interaktiva utställningar, en flygsimulator och en mockup av den ultramoderna Dreamliner-interiören.

Säkerhetskrav:

  • Barn måste vara minst 122 cm (4 fot) långa för att få följa med på turen.

  • Av säkerhetsskäl är det inte tillåtet att ta med barn på turen.

  • Barn under 16 år måste åtföljas av en vuxen.

Boeing Future of Flight är en tillgänglig anläggning. Show Me Seattles resefordon har ingen rullstolslift, men vi kan förvara rullstolar och scootrar som kan fällas ihop eller fällas ihop. Gästerna måste kunna gå upp för 3 trappor för att gå ombord på bussen.

Deltagande i Boeing Everett Factory Tour kräver en resa på cirka 0,3 miles (0,5 km) tur och retur. Overpriced! Guide did not have usual bus so we were too many people crammed in a passenger van. Guide talked the whole way there but those of us crammed in back could not hear a word he was saying. And AC not working properly. We were told we’d get some refund but haven’t heard a word. Tour of the factory was great, but that was done by Boeing workers. Save your money, go tour factory on your own.

The tour company that transferred to the factory itself is great — a funny and knowledgeable driver Elvis who besides telling about Boeing on the way to Boeing told a lot of facts on the way back. But the tour itself is quite disappointing. Firstly, you cannot take any pictures which really sucks. Secondly, you will only be in the one small perimeter deck from where you can see the both sides of the assembly line in the hangar. Thirdly, I expected much more. Maybe it is because I am a pilot myself and I knew all the facts that the guide was talking about. The museum of flight has nothing really captivating. My advice: take a car and pay ≈$35 for the entrance instead of this amount
