Fantastisk fastighet på Merced floden nära Wawona Hotel inne i södra infarten till Yosemite. Gå mindre än en minut till den vackra simning hål med en stor hopp vagga direkt under kabinen. Simma hela dagen från maj-oktober. Badtunna på däck. Spela golf på golfbanan Wawona. Ha en härlig middag och drinkar på Wawona Hotel. Njut av Yosemite besökare center och ta en häst och vagn. Vandra ändlösa miles av vandringsleder och vattenfall i närheten av Wawona Dome. 20 minuters bilresa till Glacier punkt. 40 minuters bilresa till Yosemite Valley.

3 bra storlek sovrum med möjlighet att sova 2-4 per rum. 1st rum har queen bed. 2: a rum har en queen bed. 3: e rum har dubbelsäng och 2 Dubbel säng och en spjälsäng med ett par sovsäckar. Vardagsrummet har 2 drottning Hide-a-sängar. Köket är helt ombyggd med rostfria vitvaror, bänkskivor i granit och mycket funktionell.

Vår Yosemite semester stuga är på Merced floden direkt på
en perfekt simning hål med ett hopp klippa i Wawona 5 miles inuti
Södra entrén.

Den har en fantastisk panorama utsikt över floden! Det har ceder trägolv och kvistig furu väggar. Redwood däck utsikt över Merced floden.

Den har 3 sovrum och 2 bad och sover 8 bekvämt i sovrummen, men upp till 13 inklusive Hide-a-sängar och spjälsäng. Mer med sovsäckar eller uppblåsbara madrasser. Vi har
ett fullt utrustat kök med kylskåp, ugn / spishäll, kaffebryggare, brödrost, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, WiFi, 42 "HDTV och Blu-ray / DVD-spelare, öppen spis, ett däck med utsikt över
flod, har hela vardagsrummet stora fönster med utsikt mot floden, sängkläder, handdukar, tvål, tp, ved och en propan (gas) galler BBQ. Värm upp i badtunnan efter ett dopp i floden.

Du kan golf på golfbanan Wawona, rida från Wawona stallet, vandra de många stigar i Wawona och Yosemite, vandra till Chilnualna Falls, gå cykling, se stora träd i Mariposa Grove, gå ängen slingan, äta på Wawona Hotel, lyssna på piano mannen vid Wawona Hotel medan du smuttar på kaffe eller en drink, gå till Wawona BBQ, gå och se Glacier punkt, skidor eller snowboard på Badger Pass, fiska, bada i simning hålet, hoppa från hoppet sten

Awesome location!
I know Wawona fairly well and this cabin is positioned perfectly! It’s right above the main swimming hole and the sound of the river is amazing at night. It’s an old cabin but has everything you need.

Beautiful location, rustic cabin
We really enjoyed our stay, despite arriving in mid July during a heatwave and realizing there is no AC. I completely overlooked that detail in the listing and we were traveling with our older parents who were not pleased. The cabin is very rustic but clean and there are fans in every room. The river below is gorgeous but getting down is steep! My parents were unable to get down to the river which was a bummer. We, on the other hand, enjoyed floating and swimming every afternoon after we got back from Yosemite Valley. Also, the Chilnualna Falls trail in the neighborhood is a must do! So beautiful and a quick hike.

Merced River was great
We enjoyed our stay in Wawona very much. It was a perfect spot to stay and visit Yosemite. The house overlooks the Merced River and we spent a lot of time down at the river. Please note, there is no air conditioning. For most of our stay that worked fine, but we did have one evening that it was quite warm and for some reason that also happened to be the same night a very rowdy group of young people went down to the river well past quiet time hours. Every other day, it was actually pretty quiet on our little dead end street. The house is older, but in good shape. It fit our family well and there is a lot of deck space outside to sit and enjoy looking over the river at the end of a day. I would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

Picturesque cabin on the river
Lovely cabin with stellar and serene views of the south Merced River. Located inside Yosemite Park was extremely convenient and we saved hours of waiting in car lines to enter the park. In the mornings we explored Yosemite National Park and in the afternoons we swam, fished, and played in the river. There is a lovely market called Pine Tree at the end of the street, a nice walk to pick up any items needed for the week. At night we fell asleep to the calming sounds of the river below. Would 10 out of 10 recommend. Such a beautiful and memorable trip for our family.

Nice place in a perfect location!
We loved our stay here, but it was a little cramped with 10 people- there were only 2 sets of bunk beds, not 3. We just used an air mattress on the floor to sleep 2 more kids, and they all had a blast together. The kitchen looked different than the pictures show. It was small and not well stocked -(not enough dishes and cereal bowls for example), and no pantry space to store our food, and the microwave was in an odd spot above the fridge, which other reviewers commented on. We just used paper plate we had brought and got by ok. The deck was lovely, and what a view! This cabin is old and not perfect, but it’s clean and you can’t beat this location right on the river in Yosemite. You’d fall asleep to the sound of rushing water outside. The kids even went tubing and jumped into the river off the rock in the backyard. We had an amazing vacation and enjoyed our stay here a lot. A few little updates would make it even better though, and we’d love to be back!

Great location
Great location but cabin could be updated and cleaned better. There were dirty washcloths in bathroom and dirty bath mats hanging outside. The bedrooms with the king downstairs is very small and the kitchen counter space is tiny. There is an odd and pervasive smell too.. but the location is great. The decks fabulous and the beds comfortable. Just needs some housekeeping attention and the smells addressed.

1. Photo showed three sets of bunkbeds -- only 2 sets with a mattress on the floor. 10th member of our family had to sleep on the living room couch. I was billed for "extra guests" -- not fair since one had to sleep on floor and the other on living room couch with no curtains for privacy from outside neighbors or sun. 2. Maid didn't make up all the beds because there weren't enough sheets. We searched, including utility room outside next to jacuzzi, & found several trash bags with some sheets and bedding. Then, we had to make beds ourselves. Sleeping bags and mats that owner said we could use were not there & cleaning woman knew nothing about them. 3. Power went out. Phone calls to utility company found that there was a "problem with the billing" and only the owner could take care of it. Multiple phone calls and messages to owner before he responded. He did whatever he needed to do to get the power turned on. 4. Local phone number given to us for emergencies was out of order. In spite of repeated requests for owner to give us a local number to take care of emergency, he never did. 5. Owner needs to inventory supplies. 6. Location great. Lots to do in southern part of Yosemite to avoid the crowds in the village. Able to jump off rock into slow part of the river, & tube a short way & land on the beach in front of the yard. Steps going to beach steep, coming loose & dangerous. 7. Pine Tree Market people very friendly & market had whatever we needed.

Great location, needs a lot of improvement.
The location is perfect although we could not enjoy the river as it was raging with the snow run off. However, that being said and the cost of the cabin,I feel that I must point out some of these things that needs improvement. Upon arrival we found the windows to be dirty as well as the floors and stairs. The stove was dirty and tiny, I could not imagine cooking in the oven, with only one rack. Pans are terrible, one has a broken handle that you could not use, one was scratched so bad it was unusable, the only good one was the cast iron skillet. The kettle leaked from the spout on the neck, kitchen knives are blunt and worn, no silicone spatula to cook with (probably why the non stick pans are so scratched) No wooden spoons either which would have helped. Microwave above a full sized fridge? Unless you are 7ft you have to stand on a stool to use the micro. No water from the fridge and no ice maker (both listed in the add) Furniture badly worn and torn. Dirty draws in every room, no closet to hang our clothes in the upstairs master. Most outlets are broken and do not hold the plug in (safety risk at best) Master hand held shower head not working, along with a slow draining sink. Stained toilet downstairs, light bulbs out. Steps to the river are missing near the bottom. Sink drainer needs replaced. The listing said 3 sets of bunk beds and only 2 are there. IMHO, disappointed at best. Not worth the money. I did contact the host and I believe he is unaware of these problem

Great location right on river!
The location of this cabin is tremendous, right on the river. Beautiful views and several really nice decks to sit on and enjoy the views. However, the photos were a bit misleading and not representative of what the cabin actually looked like. The kitchen was hard to work with, no food storage, the microwave was above the refrigerator so super hard to reach since it was so high. Very old gas stove, with an oven that seemed to only have one temperature. Not enough dishes if you actually had 10 people in the cabin. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs with a pretty steep set of stairs. Wouldn't be great for small children or the elderly. Cabin generally needed a little TLC, lots of burned out light bulbs, etc. There is a jacuzzi which is a nice touch but no operating instructions as far as I could tell. I know it's really old cabin which I don't mind at all, but some of the things could have very easily been taken care of with a little attention to detail.

The stay was great but there were things that were disappointing, the floors were very dirty like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time, there was dog or cat hair everywhere on the floor and in the carpet , there was no blender in cabin and some dishes were dirty, also the dish sponge was dirty with good residue, it’s a beautiful cabin with a hreat view it just needs a little more cleaning

Great vacation spot
Rustic cabin with a great view. The decks are great for eating, relaxing and enjoying the view. The swim spot below the cabin was a highlight of the trip. It’s easy to get to several hikes from this location. The kitchen and eating area are a little tight for a larger party. This wouldn’t be a problem in warmer months because of the outdoor eating arrangement, but something to consider in colder months. Beds sleep great and the bathrooms were fine for our party of 9. 4 adults and 5 kids.

Great location
We were looking for a property that was comfortable, interesting and convenient to Yosemite Valley and this fit the bill perfectly. Cozy, cabin-like place looking over a beautiful river and rapids, the sound of which was a big part of the beauty. Easy access to the Valley, Mariposa Grove and the Chilnualna Falls, all of which are magnificent.

Fantastic Yosemite family vacation!
We had 10 family members going to Yosemite and wanted a place where we could all stay together and still enjoy Yosemite! - This was the perfect spot, after spending the day in the Valley and on hikes, we would come back and jump in the watering spot directly behind the house, then eat and spend the night in the Jacuzzi looking at the stars! We ate every meal outside on the large deck which was a perfect way to start and end every day. There is a lower room which we called the "kid zone" because it has 3 sets of bunk beds in the room and was perfect for all our kids. There is a small market that is really and has almost everything you could possibly need. Although the internet is not "super high speed" it worked fine for us - we watched some Netflix movies and were still able to get some work done. Great place - highly recommend

Best Yosemite Stay!
We had an amazing stay. The house backs right on to the river that is perfect for taking a dip after hiking. There are wrap around decks for relaxing and eating. The home is spotless and beds comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and access to the valley floor for all hiking is easy. The owner is easy to contact and helpful. We are so happy we chose the house for our stay and wish we were still there!!

We loved the location but the property itself was too rustic for us. I like to camp but I was expecting nicer for the price. There is a major spider problem in the downstairs bathroom that needs to be addressed.

Family vaca
Location was great, we really enjoyed being right on the river and Wawona is really cute. The cabin was a bit worn and has a few quirky tripping hazards inside. Was not stocked with sufficient toilet paper, paper towels, and BBQ was out of propane. There was also a brief power outage while we are there, which it seems is not rare, so I recommend having flashlights. The owner was very responsive and reimbursed us for the propane. The store is a very short walk from the cabin, which was very convenient.

FANTASTIC STAY IN A LOVELY PLACE
THE SIX OF US STAYED IN THIS CABIN FOR A WEEK- PLENTY OF ROOM WITH 3 BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHS. USED THE GRILL ON THE DECK EVERYDAY AND LOVED THE SOUND OF THE RIVER THAT WAS SO RIP ROARING IN MAY. EASY DRIVE INTO YOSEMITE VALLEY AND TO GLACIER POINT. THE HOUSE WAS LOVELY, WELL EQUIPPED AND CLEAN. EASY WALK TO THE MARKET. WE STREAMED A MOVIE EVERY NIGHT. HAVING RENTED BEFORE IN THIS AREA I KNEW TO BRING SOAP AND SHAMPOO ETC FOR THE SHOWERS, EXTRA PAPER TOWELS AND TOILET PAPER. YOU JUST ALWAYS NEED MORE. WENT FOR DRINKS TO BIG TREES HOTEL AND SAT OUT ON THE DECK. WERE PLANNING TO HAVE DINNER THERE ONE NIGHT TOO BUT WITH A COOK IN OUR MIDST, THE FOOD WAS TOO FANTASTIC OUT ON OUR DECK. HANDY TO HAVE WASHER DRYER TO USE. WOULD DEFINITELY RENT HERE AGAIN. THE FALLS JUST UP THE ROAD WERE REALLY PRETTY AND A FUN HIKE. ALSO DID SENTINEL DOME HIKE. STUNNING.

Great location
The house is an ideal location and perfect for groups of 2-7. The owner was very nice and helpful and we had a great time. The house is fully stocked with anything you could need and the hot tub was a nice addition.
