( READ CAREFULLY) Please limit visiting friends /family to a couple people, no drinking parties,and leave by 8pm.Two story two bedroom cabin in very private location. Owners have been in the hospitality business 25 years. Three flat screens on direct tv. WI fi Has fully equipped kitchen ... pots pans silverware microwave stove large brand new refrigerator . 5 minutes to Marietta ,10 to Parkersburg. We are located at the end of dead end road and live on the same property as our four rentals. There is 1000 acres of woods behind us. Very safe and quiet here. Plenty of woods to walk in. We have been running a Country in here also for 25 years. The Williamstown Country INN.

Was a lovely place. Very interesting decor. Reminded me of my childhood. Robert was very informative about the area. Although it seems secluded, it was 10 minutes away from restaurants and sightseeing places. Fully equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cabin in the woods
Cabin is very nice. They have it decorated with lots of antique country items. We watch deer grazing at the edge of the woods each evening. And its actually close to Marietta Ohio. Everything you need is close.

Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed, and if we would have stayed longer we would have been able to try out the kitchen. The property was nice and secluded, and I ly a short drive to Marietta and just about anything you'd need. Our son really liked having the loft to himself. We'd definitely stay here again if we're coming to this area.

Cozy Time Away

Found my home away from home in my hometown
My husband, our fur babies, and I enjoyed our stay at Rob’s cabin located in my hometown. I enjoyed the close proximity to my family, and all the social events we attended while in town. I felt comfortable leaving my furbies at the house as they were very comfortable/safe. I could tell Rob is a huge animal lover, I appreciate that. The cabin has so much charm, and though the property is in close quarters with others we very much enjoyed the property as well. Rob was very easy going and accessible to communicate with. We definitely look forward to our next stay.

Great Location
A fried and I choose this for the location. We were looking for nice, twisty, two lane back road blacktop to ride our motorcycles. Great location near good food, great roads in both Ohio and West Virginia. Owner moved his car out of the garage to allow us to park inside, great conversation on local sites, restaurants, and roads to try. Highly recommended !! Neat place.

The pictures were accurate but we weren't told that the host's home and this house are connected. Also, when we arrived we were told another guest had mistakenly taken our key as well as their own. Host seemed surprised that I wanted the other key and didn't want a stranger with a key to where we were staying for the night. The setting though was very picturesque and quiet.

problem with cleaning
The place would have been great except: 1. It was very dusty and in need of a deep cleaning 2. There was smell of cigarette smoke wafting over from the connected unit 3.The bedroom/bathroom on the "first floor" has 2 steps down, which was difficult for my 88 year old father.

The perfect cabin!
We were thrilled to be guests here all the way from Cincinnati. Our dog was welcome which was a huge bonus. The cabin is very spacious and the beds are crazy comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need a long with coffee, creamer and a few snacks on the counter. The bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries and I was thrilled to see a flat iron in the drawer. My teenager loved the upstairs space and we enjoyed having the secluded master bedroom. It is an old original cabin, so heat does rise to the upstairs and that leaves theaster a little chilly at night. All rooms have fans, so we didn't mind at all! Dress appropriately! Check in and out couldn't have been easier. The owners are on site and very helpful but are also very laid back. The refrigerator in the cabin has a plethora of thank you notes on the fridge to the owner, Robert gushing over their stay. Don't forget to sign the guest book! We would love to come back when we have more than a weekend to spend. This one gets 10/10!

Shabby but not chic
The apartment was a good size and while poorly laid out had enough kitchen equipment, although it was not all functional. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was in a good location. It is an example of things not as they appear in the pictures. The oven doesn’t work which means your options for cooking are extremely limited. There was LOTS of mismatched equipment, not all of which seemed safe. The bathroom is a poor DIY job with a shower that required a leap to get into and out of, plus the shower head was directed at the wall. It seemed unsafe and was mainly held together by silicone - it should come with a warning. The bathroom door doesn’t fully close and there was nowhere to hang towels. The apartment was damp and not particularly pleasant, and unfortunately our stay was more than a week.

Very nice
We had a great time. It was perfect for our dogs and kids. We had to extend our stay due to weather and Robert was very accommodating. I would have preferred it to be a little cleaner but overall it was great.
