Please do not waste your money at this resort! The day we arrived to Mangrove, Hilton was the day that the resort started ripping up half of the pool deck to renovate. While trying to relax at the pool you felt like you were in a construction zone and needed a hard hat. With half of the deck under construction, it crowded the rest of the seating areas. And don't get me started about the noise. Everyone around us were complaing about how loud it was. It grated on your nerves and took away every ounce of peace. It also didn't end there. The staff were working on this past 10PM and you could hear them sawing and drilling in your room.
Sadly, this wasn't my only complaint. Next was be prepared for lines.. long, long lines. The resort has about 5 onsite restaurants for you to explore. In order to eat at them, you have to stand in line by 10AM to get a reservation for the next evening. It's first come first served. And we were told they book up by 11:00AM. Unfortunately, we had to eat at the buffet most evenings. At the buffet, the resort was extremely under staffed. So good luck finding a clean, available table. They couldn't keep up with the turn over on clean dishes, plates, glasses, or silverware. You were drinking wine out of coffee cups or water glasses. Basically, whatever you could find available. They have about 6 single serve coffee stations there and most were broken. So many more complaints however I'm only allowed 1500 characters.Curacao beautiful, Mangrove HORRIBLE
