Vacker flodstuga i hjärtat av Tennessee River Gorge

Njut av vår fridfulla skogskabin vid Tennessee River i hjärtat av Tennessee River Gorge med vacker utsikt över floden och ravinen ... Sitt vid eldstaden och titta på solnedgången som steker marshmallows eller korv ... titta på pråmarna, kajakerna och båtar går förbi ... eller gäss, vattenfåglar och djurliv. Efter matlagning på grillen ... äta ute på den rymliga skärmad veranda med utsikt över floden. Samlas på kvällen och spela spel eller kela upp bredvid elden med en bok och / eller en älskad. Detta är en vilsam plats omgiven av naturen med all sin skönhet. Kajak i floden eller vandra naturstigar till Prentice Cooper State Forest (del av Cumberland Plateau). Njut av allt detta inom 30 minuter från Chattanooga centrum att utforska. Våra 3 sovrum / 3 badrum (med våningssäng och loft) kommer att sova 14 ... tillmötesgående familjesammanträden. Vi välkomnar familjer, barn och husdjur (även om de måste vara medvetna om att det är vid floden - så säkerhet för barn och husdjur är viktigt).

Secluded getaway!
Stayed with a group of old friends plus our children for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The location provides the opportunity to split your time between the city and the country and truly get the best of both worlds.I have never had more attentive hosts than we did here -- so helpful and available. The cabin itself is clean and beautifully furnished. We got rained out during much of our stay, but still found time to sit outside to take in the view and watch deer, turkeys, and a pair of bald eagles. We would love to come back in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the water as well!You won't regret booking this gem!

Very nice
Very clean and beautiful. Well-stocked kitchen. My favorite was looking out the window at the river. The last leg of our trip was an 11 mile ride down a pretty bumpy road but it added to the adventure!

The Best Yet!
We met our 3 sons & their families at this riverside retreat, for Thanksgiving weekend. This residence felt like home from the moment we walked in! Everything we needed, was there. The peace of the river; the hot dog roast & s’mores at the fire pit was perfect. And plenty of space to ‘hide away’ a bit when needed. We’ve stayed in quite a few rentals over the years & this one is the best so far. Thank you for opening your home up!!

Quite Cabin
We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described online. It was very quiet. Hardly any traffic down the horribly curvy road but it was nice. It took a long 30 minutes to get to anything, so make sure to get groceries and supplies before getting to the house. The river traffic was quiet too. We saw a couple of barges during our stay, which was neat.

Great Spot on the River!
We booked this location for a family getaway in Chattanooga. The location is great for relaxing and taking in the river. We enjoyed canoeing, building a few campfires, and watching the river traffic. The house is well appointed with everything you need and very accommodating. The house is about 45 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The location is remote and very quiet once you get there. The view and house were better than what the pictures on the listing present. We had a few minor recommendations on cleaning/supplies that we will pass along to the owner. Our overall rating is a solid 5 and we would recommend as a great spot for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful Cabin on the River
We enjoyed our stay-the cabin setting is beautiful. My only negative is that the driveway was very steep. I would certainly rent again-the cabin is worth the winding road and drive way. Michael & Diane are wonderful to work with!!

Little Piece of Paradise
This is a great cabin on the Tennessee River. We highly recommend booking this cabin. It had everything we needed. The view from the pier is beautiful. We are thinking of making this an annual location.

Great Place!
Boating wise, this was the best i've ever experienced! Hardly saw any other boaters the whole week and the water was always calm! The cabin was very roomy and had everything we needed for the week! The only downside was the road in, very curvy in case you get car sick. I will definitely come back to this cabin in the future!

Relaxing and beautiful views
We traveled by motorcycles for beautiful rides and views. The home was gorgeous, clean and had amenities we needed. Communication with the property owner was excellent, very quick to answer questions. We would recommend staying here. The road to the home is a beautiful road but it does have a lot of potholes and dips which made motorcycle travel a bit difficult! But in a motor vehicle it shouldn’t be a problem!

Property and view are amazing!!! Owners were easy to reach and kind. Property matched photos, it was really cute. Minor complaints are, could use some larger cutting boards and some plastic bowls. Some of the decorations, like the fireplace are very dusty. 100% hope to return one day!

Nice Quiet Get Away
The house is perfect for adults and families who want to get away from high traffic, noisy areas. Our family used it for a fishing vacation where we wanted some quiet solitude after we came off the river. I think the house would also be perfect for a family or group of adults wanting to explore the hiking trails in the area. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, and well maintained with a gorgeous view of the river and surrounding hills and mountains.

Breathtaking, peaceful and cozy
The cabin was as described and a very peaceful place to stay. It had everything you need plus the coziness. We did not barbecue or use the fire pit but that is available for use at the cabin. Escape from it all
This was the perfect property to escape for a long winter weekend -- seasoned firewood and roasting skewers for the outdoor fireplace, lovely warm fireplace in the living room, very comfy beds, etc. Since the weather was bad, we did one grocery shop, parked our cars, and settled in to enjoy a quiet weekend with comfy surroundings.
