Cozy studio cottage in the historical mining town of Silver Cliff, CO!

Don't let the word studio fool you as you make plans for a getaway to the Wet Mountain Valley, situated at the base of the majestic Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. While studio apartments can be small and cramped, they can't compare to this cottage, which sleeps four, with kitchenette, bathroom, wireless internet, smart tv, and 3 burner BBQ grill. You can also enjoy the outdoor firepit and stargazing in the dark night sky. As the first internationally recongnized Dark Sky Community in Colorado, and the highest anywhere, Silver Cliff and the adjoining Westcliffe are the darkest towns in Colorado.
This cottage is an ideal base from which to enjoy the Wet Mountain Valley and surrounding areas. Ski at Monarch, white water rafting from Salida and Canon City, the Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, Bishops Castle and is close the the very best mountain climbing, hiking, hunting and fishing that Colorado has to offer. The Sangre De Cristos are host to ten, fourteeners including Crestone Needles and 86 thirteeners. This may be the perfect place to sit back and relax after strolling through town enjoying the best eateries and shops, you may even find it to be a welcome retreat from your everyday routine.

Wonderful cottage
This was the perfect little cottage for me. Very clean, quiet, and safe. It was stocked with bottled water and muffins in the cute kitchenette. I had a beautiful view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

Mostly good
Our stay was fine. The cabin was very clean. Everything was provided as listed. There were a few surprises. We expected a separate bedroom with two double beds. The cabin has one room and a bathroom. The beds are bunk beds that sleep 4 with no separate bedroom. The cabin shares the yard with the owner’s home. We thought the yard would offer more space. We also did not expect to be in a regular city block which may have been our mistake. Other than those surprises everything was good.

Cozy little place
3 of us, my husband, 9 year old daughter and I were able to stay in the cozy little cabin. We watched the hummingbirds from our window at the hummingbird feeder. A very peaceful backyard and it had everything we needed.

Clean, Modern Studio on Quiet Street
Well-equipped efficiency with large kitchen window providing bird-watching and distant mountain peak watching. I just wished there were enough room in the unit for a comfy chair to read or watch TV.

Love this Tiny House
Enjoyed our stay! Loved watching the hummingbirds, light rain storms, the welcome muffins and we did go to the bakery and bought more stuff. Would definitely stay again And it was nice to meet our host too :)

Very nice high-end finishes to kitchen and bath area.The space was small but well planned to maximize the use of spce. The back yard is attractive with a popular humming bird feeder visible from the kitchen! We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely Cottage Stay!
Our stay in this lovely cottage was so pleasant and lovely! The place is fully equipped with kitchen supplies, plenty of towels, extra blankets, a hair dryer, etc. Juanita even provided a couple of water bottles in the refrigerator. Multiple fans are provided to keep the place cool and there is a screen attachment over the front door to allow the door to be kept open for fresh air minus any bugs going inside. We arrived here at night time due to travel delays. However, the cottage was easy to find and very close to the main road. The outdoor walkway is well-lit and allowed us to find the main fence/gate to the cottage easily. The sleeping arrangement is a good-sized bunk bed. Very fun and it totally makes sense for the space. The beds, pillows, and sheets are super comfortable. The bathroom is well-lit and quite spacious. Overall, the studio cottage was super cozy, clean, and comfortable! Thank you Juanita for such a lovely accommodation!

Hiking getaway
This property is a cute little gem for those looking to getaway. The items supplied in the kitchen are perfect for making a few meals there and saving on eating out. Beds were comfortable (except my husband at 6’1” had to sleep diagonal) and the view was beautiful! The cleanliness was superb and we had a very enjoyable stay!

Cozy cottage in great location
We really enjoyed the cozy cottage in a great location for the music festival we were attending. Great backyard , where we enjoyed several meals. Bunk beds were a little awkward, but I understand why she did it. The unit could then accommodate four instead of just two.

Cozy comfort in a breathtaking setting
This little gem has everything you need. Juanita was a fabulous host and even provided us with coffee and we are big coffee drinkers! The view is amazing, we cooked out on the grill one night, and just thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
