“Everything was fine - except that it was freezing cold in the bathroom. The storage heater could have been put on for an hour or so before my arrival. As it was the room was so cold! And if I kept it on at night, the noise of the thing going on and off kept me awake. So - a little more thought could be given to how to deal with that for comfort's sake.”

“Very well equipped, clean and cosy. with stunning views from the windows. An ideal base for investigating the lovely Afan Valley. Also close enough for Mumbles, Gower and Swansea. Off road parking. Lovely garden but a lot of stairs to deal with.”

“Property in a great location for town, beach and restaurants.The property felt a little tired - eg the double doors to the balcony could not both be opened; the kitchen tap was wobbly; the metal frame of the dining table did not seem very clean; needed to bring own cable to be able to watch tv. Would be much better if there was a dishwasher, even a small size one.Having said all that, the beds were comfy and it was great having the two bathrooms. “It is a lovely apartment that met our needs. Beds were very comfortable and living room relaxing. Beautiful views from back of apartment. There are lovely walks for our dogs in the valley, it was only 15 minutes to the dog friendly end of the beach in Port Talbot. We had a great stay. ”

“Once inside, the property is very nice. But FINDING it is impossible without careful assistance from the owner. The street address given by VRBO does not exist. The property access is off a run down alley BEHIND where the street address would be. No navigation system in the world could find this place. You have to carefully go down the parallel alley and look for the property. The owner emailed me pictures of the property from the alley which was the ONLY way to actually find it.”

“Great location. Property needs to be updated and have clear internal issues repaired/replaced. The damage deposit asks you to take photos of all damage - this took a long time!! Curtain rail fell on my daughter when pulled - it was clear it had been bodge repaired multiple times. Photos on VRBO are of the property when new - but it is very tired inside now and some monies need spending to bring it up to the level it is being sold at. A real shame as the location is perfect.”

“Culver House is in such a perfect position for a few days away or even a week in the warmth. The apartments have all you need and were clean with fluffy towels. The wonderful part, you are just a few steps away from the dunes and beach and only a few steps away from the local pub. The owners are warm and welcoming. Just what we needed after being cooped up for so long!”

“We had a fantastic time staying at this property. The house hugely surpassed our expectations and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for a group of 17. Richard and Sue were great hosts and very responsive during the booking process and our stay. Will definitely be coming back!”
