“Booked a Superior 1 Bed King Room for just over a week. Enjoyed it very much. Great staff. Bed was comfortable. Showerhead was plenty high enough, but water pressure was low. Poor lighting around the bathroom mirror, behind a translucent mirror edge, looks dramatic but doesn't work well when trying to shave or apply makeup. Room was quiet. WiFi was slow. Normal fridge - no risk of accidentally freezing lettuce and such. Hotel breakfast was pretty much the same every day, but was good. ...

“This nicely renovated classic hotel sits across from the Capitol and offers roomy suites at a reasonable price. The living room furnishings are comfortable and not econolodge cheap, too firm, upholstered boxes. Valet parking staff are excellent though the great location means there is loads to walk to directly. The front desk staff is welcoming and happy to offer local insight. A nice stay. ”

“From the moment we pulled up we felt at home at the Jefferson. Bakar was a warm, friendly face who welcomed us to our room. From there, we felt the rooms were tidy and the hotel is so beautiful it's hard to force yourself to leave. The perfect spot to stay for the Richmond marathon as starting line is right around the corner. Couldn't have been a better weekend!”

“It was very quiet, great view and outstanding whirlpool . The heat wasn't working it stayed at 68 ,but maintenance brought up a portable heater and it was wonderful afterwards. Will be back next month.”

“Stayed at many overpriced nasty old hotels. This is not that. Everything you need from a value two star. Less than year since opening. Modern design. Functional kitchen. Large rooms high ceilings. Great HVAC. Front desk nice, but sometimes not there. I'm glad I ignored reviewers who thought they deserved four star amenities and service at this price point. Take a bag to collect to go breakfast. Bring you own toiletries. For some reason, this hotels had people who stayed out until 12-3am...
