This was the most humiliating experience I have ever had in my life. I was unable to afford to do something special for my daughter’s 13th birthday and this hotel looked BEAUTIFUL online. I booked a room for two nights through Expedia. We arrived at the hotel for check in and were greeted politely. When it came time to pay I had to move money from one account to another. I tapped my card and it authorized a weird amount way less than my total. $142 So we tried again and this time it authorized $686. My bill was $498 plus the $100 for incident. The man at the counter said the charge didn’t go through on his end but on my end both did. The manager did not come out to talk to me just sent the kid back out to tell me I had to pay for another night and another incident deposit!!!! My mind was blown. I asked to see him. His name is Matthew Niell. He came flying out of the door looking upset so I already got in a defensive mode. Like I did something wrong. He said because it was booked
