"Loved the room, opening the door and a scent of new and clean is first impression. Stylish, comfortable room and bathroom, liked that the hall area wasn't covered in carpet. The breakfast had all the things you'd expect, Irish brekkie, fruits, bread and pastries etc. Location was really good, easy to reach by car and then just a few minutes walk into central Galway. "

"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
