In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining. The entire property can be seen from two sitting areas plus an screen room facing the woods and Quincy Bay. The kitchen was massive and had everything we needed. “This was a stopover in our cross country travels, with our dog. They take pets and there is a nice lakeside trail to walk on. Jusy be aware, It is a super busy hotel. There were many kids thrre for badeball tournement ans a wedding. But we surprisingly still had a good night's sleep. Staff was very nice, check in super easy.”

“Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access”
