“I arrived at the hotel about 7 pm. The hotel is locked, all the lights are off and no one answered the door or the phone. I have never experienced anything like tbis before. I demand a refund and an apology. Take the hotel conditions, etc. with a grain of salt. The form required all fields to be entered to make a submission. ”

“Nice quaint and quiet hotel. Clean room. Nice ambiance. Roaring fireplace when you check in. Jonah’s restaurant is 400 ft away. Mobil gas station next door. ”

“Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access”

“Room had so much air freshener that it made you nauseous. Someone could actually taste the air freshener. Ran the bathroom exhaust fan, turned on the air unit to high, and then cracked the door. That helped, but the room remained pungent for two days. Checked for wall plugins but zero were found. Makes you wonder what happened in that room. ”
