“This is such a lovely property that I enjoyed with my family for a special birthday celebration. Our host Margherita is as beautiful as the property is magnificent. She was so gracious and helpful. We so enjoyed taking a cooking class with her and her mother Veronica, who learned traditional Tuscan cooking from her grandmother. They also made a delicious dinner for us one evening. “A perfect house to spend a holiday with family and friends. We where 13 persons from 6 months to 63 years, inspite of that we didn’t disturb each other and could really find an own space when you wanted it. Nice surroundings for bicycling, hiking, nice villages to explore. The host was very serviceminded and helped out in all strange questions asap! We all loved it!”

“We where two families in total of 10 people. The villa has a remarkable view and pool area with outdoor kitchen. A table big enough for all of us to sit next to the poolarea and eat breakfast/dinner. The way up to Olive Tree Suites was a bit tricky with narrow turns. I would recommend to arrive if possible when its light outside. At least the first time. We had a great vacation. ”

“Lots of room for lots of people. We were only 6 adults, so we didn't really tax the space. I caution anyone trying to get to this location to be careful using Google Maps. Google knows incredibly little about this little enclave just outside Fiesole. It's worth it to find it. Follow the signs and you should get there. Having said that once you reach #5 part way up the hill. Just keep on going to the left and you'll soon see the next sign that will complete your journey. The dining area...

“We had a lovely time staying here in Cantagrillo. The house is beautiful and very spacious. We were able to easily get on bus to Pistoia and train station for travel. We also enjoyed the pizzerias, Vesuvius for pastries, and gelato. Nick and his family who checked us in were very helpful with recommendations.”

“Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! ”
