“ The proximity to the things we wanted to do made this a good choice. We enjoyed the layout of the place, esp. the porches to enjoy coffee and watch wildlife. Our bed was was comfortable as well, very important to us. Appreciated the washer/dryer! A note to navigation: Having read another of the reviews that expressed concern about Hilltop Road, we found Jaggers Rd to be a great option as it is paved. ”

“It was clean and beautifully decorated. Its almost impossible to fish by the lake though as the vegetation and weeds are in abundance. The check in and out was easy and host was friendly and replied to questions promptly. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful stay.”

“The location was convenient to town, wineries, and distilleries, although off the beaten path. The charming house allowed for relaxation in a quiet setting surrounded by fields of cows and deer grazing each night. The host was responsive if contacted. We had all of the comforts of home and found it very relaxing. ”

“Enjoyed our time at Kings Creek. Seasonal campground with cabin rentals. Cabins are all mostly waterfront and adjacent to the marina and office. Pontoon and fishing boat rentals are within steps of the cabins. Kayaks avail at no charge and my kids loved paddling around the bay. Cabin was clean and had all the basic necessities, walmart within 20 min so we put an olive order in for pick up and had everything we needed for the week. “This cabin is very cool. THe view on the water was amazing for sunsets. My family of 6 played cards and appreciated the games there. Amenities are nice. Coffee maker and Keurig both available. We came at a time (October) when many of the restaurants and places seemed to close down because this is a lake town, so restaurants were scarce and had shorter hours, but we found the Burger Barn (delicious) on the lake across the bridge into the LBL, and the next night we drove about 30 min up to Grand...
