“Very relaxing and clean rooms”

“It was lovely walking into the room with the heater on, ambient music playing and a lovely aroma in the air. The room was really nice and clean. My only niggle was the bed was a little hard for me. The location was very central for exploring. I would definitely recommend it to others.”

“It was an unpleasant experience at the hotel. In the end, we decided not to stay the night we paid for due to the terrible service. The room was very cold, and the heater did not work. We will not go back again.”

“Clean room with easy check in. Parking is extremely limited. We were staying for 2 nights and I had to ask staff if I could have the second mornings complimentary breakfast. They advised we should have had our room serviced which didn’t happen. The staff I spoke to were lovely and helpful, giving me fresh towels and the breakfast. It’s a “locals” pub so it was a bit noisy late into the night. The room was clean and the neat, the bathroom was fabulous!”

“Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.”

“Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because the location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. There were a few things that let the room down, though. We had booked a room with a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which made the bed feel uneven and uncomfortable. The bathroom also had some maintenance issues; water was dripping while showering and even when using the hand basin tap. Another issue was...

“Excellent lakeside location with beautiful views of the lake. Check in was easy. Large, clean rooms. Comfortable bed for restful sleep.”

“Nice budget country hotel but unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed but there was a nice micro brewery on walking distance. Nice surroundings to drive to and explore.”

“Prompt response to any questions, very quick communication. Easy self check in. Nice little touches and attention to detail. Comfy Bed, Good heating. Parking a bit tight, but we parked ok. Great restaurant/pub across the road. Walkable to main street, but beware of distance if you want easy walkable access to everything.”
