“I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. “STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky.
