“I had great time here. I stayed here for 2 nights, and I highly recommend this place for every traveller who needs a budget hotel close to the Entebbe Airport. The breakfast was delicious and was very filling. There was also a good number of options. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to my needs. For $9, you can get a very delicious and filling meal. It definitely felt like home away from home for me. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The rooms were also okay for the price....

“Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...

“Gately is a quaint hotel that is always enjoyable. The staff are courteous, professional and attentive but not annoying. The facility itself is a bit nostalgic and unique, and along with that comes aging plumbing and electrical supply problems. You will enjoy Gately, particularly the staff, but expect a bit older amenities.”
