“You booked the hotel solely for the waterslide. We arrived early driving from far away so that we could use the waterslide only to find out that all of the lifeguards had called in “sick”. One of the staff members indicated that having teenage lifeguards this is sometimes what happens. So that should be advertised as we wasted extra money on a pool and a waterslide that was nonfunctional and wasted our time getting there as well. We weren’t offered anything as an apology, just a too bad”

“If you plan on using the TV, bring y our own streaming service - the one the hotel uses really distorts on the screen (we were watching World Cup soccer). So do the Google/Casting thing.
Not all room are the same size. Avoid 202 or 302 as they are very small for 2 people.
They are great for dogs and very helpful. When we went they put us in 202 (2 people and dog), and you couldn't really use the desk as the chair would hit the foot of the bed - and there was no room for a casual chair. ...

“The Donald Gordon Hotel in Kingston was fantastic. Housed in a beautiful historic building that was originally a private residence, it has operated as a hotel since, I believe, the 1980s. While the rooms are traditional hotel rooms, they are exceptionally well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality.

“The room was clean but would like to see the carpeting (allergen) replaced with other floor covering preferably natural materials.
