“Really beautiful location next to the Nile. Bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Food locally sourced was really tasty. Everything had been thought of for a place to recharge batteries. Great staff and opportunities for local walks with guides. Felt really safe. Picture windows look out over the falls. I’d far rather come here than any expensive Kampala hotel”

“The location was beautiful quiet back street large compound. We had breakfast each Which was filling. The laundry service did not provide a dryer so our clothes took several days to dry. People were very courteous and helpful, but the surroundings were beautiful.”

“Loud music everyday from 8am. Feels like a party hostel everywhere you go. On the second day we were assured that the "event" would be over in 1h and that next day would be quiet. The following day was an even bigger party on the whole venue. If you are looking for a party-hostel it is a good place. Facilities are nice, service is good and food is acceptable. Don't expect to relax or have a quiet meal though. ”

“I felt right at home here. Trees and large yard in the middle of everything. A private secluded home close to anything you want. Easy transport when needed. Amazing breakfast with fruit from trees on property. ”

“The Bridgeway Guesthouse was formerly my favorite place to stay in Jinja. Now, their system of reserving rooms is terrible -- I booked via this site and the Bridgeway did not recognize Orbitz and thus I had to pay again in person; I was put in a room that was not the one I booked, and a subsequent night I stayed, I was put into a different room. The next morning, I saw someone kicked out of their room so that other customers (equally dissatisfied with their original placement) could have his....

“God mat, hyggelig personale, men det tok nesten 1time før vi fikk maten etter bestillingen. Men det var værte å vente pga maten smakte kjempe godt. De har ikke mosquite nets, derfor barn mitt ble bitte av mosquites og fikk allergi reaksjon og mot til sykehus/clinic.”

Greeted immediately by smiles, cleanliness and a relaxed beautiful atmosphere...We will not hesitate to bring family and friends to The Pearl of The Nile the next visit we make to Jinja... We were valued highly from the moment we stepped inside the gate and throughout our long stay. We consider the stay as one of the highlights of our trip to Africa. Loved it!”

“I didn’t check in because I was told I didn’t have booking. Yet I had confirmation from Expedia. I was told hotel was full. Good enough out of the hotel staff assistance I got another hotel where I could spend a night. It was bad to arrive at night and you are told you have no booking that should be done much earlier.”
