“Overall, it was a great stay. We stayed for New Year’s Eve, so knew it could be busy and loud…and it was. Was able to deal with the craziness at midnight as it was to be expected. The waterpark was great and we enjoyed our meals from the snack shack. The continental breakfast unfortunately missed the mark. Muffins were ice cold, long line for the one waffle maker, orange juice was very watery, and not a lot of a selection available. The only positives were the scrambled eggs and plentiful...

“A very nice property that has lots of amenities. I do wish our room had more storage. Only two hangers in the closet. Could have used hooks and bench by the door for hats and jackets. A dresser for clothes would have been nice, especially since there were such limited hangers in the closet. Also would’ve appreciated the option of having recycling available in our room.”

“Cragun's is an old-fashioned family resort. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. They have great customer service. Our original cabin had an issue, so they promptly moved us to a new, similar cabin, and the new cabin was perfect.”

“This is my 4th visit to Ruttgers. We stayed in a room in the Five Pines. Very basic. I liked the other rooms better. I think they are slowly upgrading the place. No hair dryer as it states or I would of brought my own. ”

“We had our family Thanksgiving at one of the Woodsmoke cabins and it was the perfect property for us- we had 10 people and the layout, style and accommodations were great! ”

“LOVED the cabin but it was a bummer our stove didnt work. We changed our plans (ordered pizzs)so we could eat but it was an inconvenience. A heads up ahead of time would have been nice so we knew to plan to not use the oven and stove. A discount for our inconvenience may have been a nice touch since we couldnt cook at all. Otherwise, we LOVE the resort and it was beautiful, quiet, and perfect for our family getaway. ”

“A lovely, nearly new cabin with every comfort. It was very comfortable for us (four adults and a toddler). Communications and instructions ahead of our visit were excellent and timely. We had a wonderful stay. ”

“We had a very peaceful, serene stay. The pan fishing from the dock was great and the sunsets were amazing. The grounds outside would benefit from trimming overgrownn shrubs and irradicating poison ivy. We'd be concerned about the poison ivy if we had children or a dog with us. The management was friendly and helpful. We were concerned about access as it is not easily accessable for loading and unloading and were allowed to get closer to do so.”
