The Windmill House Belvidere NC with NEW Starlink Wifi!

Unplug and rewind at the windmill house. This little house is perfect if you are traveling through or just in the area visiting family and friends. What I love about this house is the peace it gives while unplugged. The back porch is the perfect place to start the morning with a cup of coffee and a great place to end the day with a beverage. The windmills on the farm and the sway of the yard trees set you back. I really enjoy the fire pit. Cook a few hot dogs and enjoy a marshmallow or two. If the weather isn't suitable for outdoor activities, cozy up on the sectional or open the board games and share a meal while talking with your family. We offer a Smart Roku TV with NEW Starlink Wifi and A great selection of DVDs for family movie night also.

A few of my favorite shopping stops are less than three miles from the house. Laydens Supermarket, where you will find hand-cut steaks, homemade sausage and old fashion candy. If you are not up to cooking, the Nicholson House offers a great menu, not to mention one of the finest boutiques in the area. Just minutes away, you will find Scotts. It's our local feed n seed with outdoor supplies, sporting goods and so much more. All three are must-shops!

This little house was exactly what we were looking for and more!! The sun set is beautiful over the cotton fields and Turbines. The only thing I didn’t like was that we didn’t get to stay longer!!

Great house close to the OBX
We stayed at the Windmill House on our way to the OBX. The property was exactly as described and the host was quick to respond to our questions. Clean and well appointed. We were very happy when we arrived after 12+ hours on the road. Coffee on the back porch in the morning sun was a great way to start the next day.

Beautiful house!
The Windmill House is so quaint, I felt like home. Leslie is a wonderful hostess, even had the fire pit loaded up and ready to use! Towels and amenities were plentiful, beds were so comfy and I slept very well. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area, Thank you so much Leslie!

The location was great for a weekend trip to get on the local rivers in the area. The house was clean, updated and perfect. It is perfect to hang out outside and enjoy the scenery. Perfect Cottage Retreat
My husband and I stayed at this adorable rental with our baby for 2 nights while we were in town buying our new home. The furniture is very comfortable, house is clean and so charming, and Leslie thought of everything to make our stay easy and relaxed. The back patio alone is amazing for sunrise coffee or morning yoga, SO gorgeous and peaceful! Super kind and quick responses, she even held an item for us that we had left behind until we could pick it up later. Would be an excellent place for a small family visiting, girls retreat or even just a hotel substitute! Even the drive to nearby town isn’t bad and the scenery & lack of city noise makes up for it. Can’t beat the ambiance, ease and price.

Perfect Getaway
What an absolute wonderful piece of heaven. Location was isolated but very close to excellent fresh seafood (Story’s) and world renown Layden’s market. Hertford had great quant shops! Peaceful nights sleep, windmills in the background, and ideal house. What more could you ask for? Thank you so much.

New Addition to Annual Vacation
The owner paid every attention to detail. We used the house as a stop over in our drive to OBX, so we had driven 15 hours before arrival. Arrival and check in was super easy. When we got into the house, it was spotless but still super welcoming. We are a family of four, plus a grandparent and the family dog. We all had comfortable spots to sleep and woke up refreshed. Shower was wonderful and we all enjoyed some time on the back deck in the morning, as well as, some front porch swinging time. The front porch swing alone made us want to stay a little longer. I easily see this house as becoming part of our annual drive to the OBX and I give my sincerest thanks to the owner for allowing single nights and pet friendly accommodations. Best experience ever!

Quiet stay with room to stretch out
We had an absolute great time at this property. It was nice to visit family near by and have a quiet place to stretch out. Everything was perfectly as described. The property was very clean and well equipped. Communication was easy as was check in and check out was even easier. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

A Walk Back in Time
This beautifully remodeled cottage has some gorgeous hard wood floors! It is a perfect place to unplug from the world and relax! The host was very welcoming. It has everything you need to relax and with no wifi .. a fire pit and front porch swing ! It has all you need!
