Lovely host!
The apartment is located on a lovely plaza with sun on the terrace. The apartment had everything needed for a lovely stay. Keith the owner is super responsive and very helpful.

Really nice apartment on lovely complex
Enjoyed our stay in this apartment on Sands Beach Resort. Nice friendly quiet complex and not too far to walk into town with loads of bars and restaurants. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host Keith was helpful and quick to respond.

Lovely and relaxing stay
Keith is a wonderful host, very responsive and attentive. The property is well maintained, clean and fantastically equipped - there is everything you need to enjoy your holiday in Costa Teguise. Comfy beds, a nice spacious bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge... Literally there was nothing we needed that wasn't there - bottle openers, a microwave, hobs, pans, pots, glassware, cookware etc etc. Even a beach parasol and beach towels! In front of the villa there is a big swimming pool and a small children pool. A few steps away there is a lido and a beach bar where a nice party takes place every Saturday - but worry not, you can't hear it from the apartment and it finishes at 12pm. You can also enjoy your day or relax at the patio, where we would eat breakfast every day. Location of Sands Beach is very convenient, too - there are some bars and a supermarket right within the resort and a short stroll away (10min at most) you find yourself next to the main beach with a selection of tens of restaurants, pubs and bars. Further 5min away and you are at the traditional central market bustling with places to drink and eat. Amazing! We would return in a blink and will recommend to our friends.

Property in serious need of update. Doors to property needing new lock , to lock properly you had to leave a small gap. Strong smell of sewage in bathroom which eased as week went on but needing looked at, when reception were approached they weren’t interested as it was a private property. Beach towels seen better days, beds ok but again could do with a refresh First night daughter awoke with a cockroach on her face, this could happen anywhere but still not a nice experience for her. Love the Sands Complex and will visit again but just not to this apartment.

The apartment is well equipped. , the back bedroom bed is very comfy and clean The apartment was well equipped , My only concern was the patio door ( needs a new one ) as it had a gap to the side and taped up The pull down bed needs a mattress protector as the under sheet had worn Outside chairs broken Extra coolers required, With these small adaptations the apartment could be rented at a higher price as it boasts the sunny side of the pool to which is an added bonus and I would definitely return on completion

Très bon séjour dans ce logement
Appartement très bien situé très proche de la mer et devant la piscine. Il est très bien équipé il est dans un Complexe hôtelier ce qui permet de bénéficier du restaurant face à la mer pour des petits-déjeuners à volonté. Le parking pour la voiture est payant mais on peut stationner dans la rue face à l'hôtel. Très bon séjour dans la maison de Keith. Merci nous reviendrons.

Nice place
Property is well located on Sands Beach, with both a smaller pool and the larger one on the doorstep. The patio captures the sun just about the whole day. There is a quarry at the back of the complex this is hardly heard from this property, just the occasional rumble as the lorries are filled with stone and we didn't experience any of the dust mentioned on one other property reviews. Apartment itself is a little tired but that said it was comfortable, clean and well stocked in the kitchen should you wish to prepare your own meals. There are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk from the complex. We haven't used the restaurant on site as prefer to head up to the square, 15 minutes walk. We have been to Sands on many occasions, there is a gym on site and plenty of pools, one of which is the heated pool used for training as opposed for fun. There is a bike hire shop on site, which is well stocked with a variety of bikes and a tennis court, rackets and balls can be hired from reception. Small shop on site for the essentials, and there are plenty of smaller supermarkets in the town. There is a small beach by the complex and a much larger sandier beach nearer the centre, approx 15 minute walk. If you hire a car, there is a large car park, chem with reception on charges.

I have stayed at sands beach many times, but this has been the best apartment in terms of location and cleanliness. Pool, sea, shops and restaurants all within 100 meters of this apartment. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had also. Highly recommend, I will be back. Thank you.

Lovely apartment on a great complex
Communication from Keith the owner was great from the start, despite an error on my part with the contact info. The villa / apartment was exactly what we were looking for for a short break with two children. It faces out onto the pool area which made it easy for them to be playing in full sight of the terrace. Lots of very good restaurants in easy walking distance. We did eat and drink at the pool bar on one occasion and didn’t find it to be bad value. Some places off site are very cheap which makes the on site bar seem expensive in comparison. But we thought the food was good and reasonably priced for the convenience. I had wrongly assumed that the children would be able to get involved in the kids club but found that there is a charge per day if staying in a private let. As it happened they were happy playing in the pool and on the park in the complex. Overall, a lovely relaxing holiday in a nice location, we would definitely return in future if visiting costa Teguise. Thanks!

Grundreinigung für die Ecken fehlt ! Ränder um die Herdplatte ! Große Roststelle an der Badewanne - vielleicht gibt es ja bei einer Erneuerung der Wanne ein besseres Material. Starke Staubent- wicklung durch eine große Baustelle hinter der Anlage, so dass man die Terrasse und die T-Möbel täglich reinigen musste. Zusätzlich war es eine starke Lärmbelästigung.

Sands Beach
Communication from owner was good. The complex is large and there was a lot going on for children. We were situated opposite a lovely pool and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We had a slight hitch with access as we arrived after dark and the terrace light switch wasn' There was everything we needed for our short stay although the property itself is badly in need of some TLC. In particular a new bed and pillows, as it was not at all comfortable. Communication with the owner was good from the outset although we were told we needed to check in at reception and this appeared to be incorrect. The man on the desk was rude when he found out we were staying at a private rental and angrily threw our passports back at us. Despite asking twice for directions to the apartment he ignored us. Thankfully another female staff member supplied us with a map! It was after dark when we arrived and it was difficult to see the numbers on the safe lock to get the key. The outside light switch was not working and we ended up having to telephone the rep for help. Apart from that we had a lovely relaxing time. Sands Beach is a huge complex and we thought it would be excellent for families with children. The staff all work very hard to keep the complex well maintained and apart from the reception man we found them all to be friendly and accommodating. The location of the resort is well placed and many bars and restaurants can be found via a short walk along the beach front or the long road outside the complex.

so relaxed I was horizontal
it is a very nice property but needs a little TLC, the non-slip bath mat was a hazard and was safer NOT using it.Personally I'd rip the bath out and put just a shower in there. the toilet was loose and you had to sit at an angle due to the toilet roll holder being in the way. the pillows were a little lumpy and you could start to feel the springs through the mattress. the salad drawer could do with changing as it is cracked and chipped. there is 1 sun lounger which sags but still relatively comfortable. Apart from these few things the apartment is very good. the outside pool, like all those in Lanzarote, was cold but once you got past the waist line it was ok. the sea pool was one of the reasons I booked this site and it was a let down as it was sludge however that is the resorts problem and nothing to do with the apartment.we ate on the terrace most nights,it has a nice large table and the chairs are ok. definitely go back there again. the resort itself could do better as there are different charges for private rentals and those they rent e.g. mattresses for the sun lounger appeared to be only for the resort clients and not private although we got them. also parking at the side of the resort inside the security gates is 20euro per week for resort clients and 50euro for private however they gave it to me for 20euro. most hotels make money on currency exchange it was 1.17euro to the £ downtown and 1.04euro at the resort which I though excessive. the supermarket on-site is expensive as you would expect but again I think they are TOO expensive when the one further down the road is a lot cheaper. again a lot of this is down to the resort and NOT the owner of the apartment but if you are staying then a little knowledge about the resort may be useful. as it says in the title I was so relaxed I was horizontal.

Ideal property for our family holiday!
We loved our stay at Sands Beach with our children aged 12 and 7. The property was ideal with everything that we needed, including a washing machine and dishwasher, oven and microwave. There was plenty of storage and clothes hangers in the wardrobes. There was the added bonus of Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water on arrival. The only slight issue's were that the beds weren't the most comfortable and the mattresses had seen better days, this could easily be improved with the help of a mattress topper of some description. Also the patio doors were taped on one side behind the curtains and they shook and rattled a bit with the wind at night.The property itself is in an ideal location in the resort, Amarilla Plaza is one of the more sheltered plaza's. the terrace is south facing and it is lovely to be able to relax on the terrace whilst the children play in full sight in the pool area. We were on holiday with our friends who were staying on another plaza but they tended to spend pool days with us we were more sheltered from the wind and had the sun on our terrace. Sands Beach is well staffed with lifeguards on each pool who are very friendly and always making sure the pool area is clean and tidy, the whole resort is kept lovely and clean. There is a mini disco for the kids most nights and a pyjama party between 9-10pm to keep the younger children entertained. There is also entertainment on in the bar which varies and is ok but improves after a few cocktails! It is a lovely 5-10 minute walk along the beach to a good selection of bars,restraurants and gift shops. We went on a couple of day trips-Rancho Texas and Timanfaya and would recommend them both.We would definately return and would love to stay in the same property again, thankyou Keith

Lovely villa great location
We had 3 fab weeks in this villa it was very clean and has everything u possible need including a washing machine. The villa is in a very clean complex with a number of swimming pools bars and shop. Also a great location 2 mins from the beach short stroll to shops bars restaurants we really enjoyed our stay here and would like to say thank you Kieth
