“We loved this house. Even though there is WiFi and television like most places, this place is filled with an enormous, and eclectic book collection. We spent most of our time, when we weren't touring the island, on the screened in porch reading and enjoying the sunshine and beauty. It's a quiet retreat that had everything we needed and we even bought several books to bring home.”

“This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay.”

"Family including 2 kids. We are on a cross country roadtrip and have been on the roads for over 3 weeks right now. This is the best place we stayed in until now. Clean, great staff, many guests but not loud. A feeling of a convenient version of a campground. Just great!!"
