“Here are the pros: the condo has two bathrooms, the bed was large and comfortable, there was a nice slice of a view from the lanai (perfect for relaxing and watching sunsets), the appliances all worked. Cons: The unit needs a good deep cleaning. The counters and other surfaces had not been cleaned and there was black mold in the master bath. The toss pillows were dirty and had a bad odor. The sofa bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The condo felt quite neglected but could be greatly improved...

“This condo was perfect for our family! We loved the location and amenities of Makena Surf -- especially the short swim to wonderful snorkeling. Everything was clean and the owners had thought of everything, even a garlic press in the kitchen, boogie boards, etc.! The beds are comfortable, the view is breathtaking, location of this condo is very quiet but central at the same time, and the owner, Jayne, is extremely helpful and responsive. We can't wait to come back some day!”
