“If not for the weather being a bit too chilly for me all went well. I gave 1 star for the property manager because i texted her once and never got a response. I texted the owner and got a prompt reply. If its chilly expect to burn lots of wood as we did. The 2 space heaters work well with the wood stove to make it nice and cozy. “We loved this place. VERY clean and fresh. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook. Easy check-in. Very secluded location so we didn't get any unwanted traffic. One bed on the main floor wasn't big enough for two of us, but there was another full-sized bed upstairs (and several single beds). This was a great place for a couple or a small family. We would stay here again without a doubt.”

“We had a great stay at Tammy’s cottage and would happily return. We prefer staying in the Southwest/Bass harbor area when visiting Acadia to escape the crowds while still having great food only 5 minutes away like Archie’s Lobster. Our dog also had a great time and the cottage had all the basic cooking & grilling essentials so we cooked for most meals. Thank you Tammy so much for having us and being a great host. ”

“We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals. (So many times I have wished that we could keep the front door open, but can't without a screen.) The cottage is nice and new, and very clean. This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit.
