“My wife, daughter, and I stayed here while enroute to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. The Glo Haus is a unique set up allowing for simple, low key lodging in a very beautiful and scenic area. My daughter spent more time either in or running along the babbling brook situated behind the structures. Each evening and morning we would sit and watch a group of deer that would walk down the hillside easement and eat the acorns that had fallen from the oaks on the property. “We returned for our wedding at the Gorge. Great place to stay! ”

“Very clean and cozy. The outside temps were never warmer than 25 F but the inside was always warm and comfy. We could stream on the wifi, and we also had cell service. The owner was responsive to any questions. GPS took us right where we needed to be, and it was dark.”

“Cabin was located perfectly about 20- 30 minutes from Winterplace. The Cabin was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the fireplace but they came right over to fix it. Very friendly. ”

“The road to the cabin was iced over and dangerous. Not the fault of owner obviously but an issue. 4WD truck had trouble so no way church bus was getting there. Had to walk in from about 1/4 mile. Cabin was very nice. Normal winter weather would have prob been fine.”

“We had the best time! This was our 2nd Labor Day weekend at the cabin and it’s just perfect!”

“We loved this cabin. Super easy to ski in and ski out. Fully stocked with all things you need. Only negative is you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to get to the second floor. ”

“What an absolute beautiful place to stay! Our grandkids from Florida wanted to see snow. This place became available and I'm beyond thrilled every thing turned out as it should! Not a bad drive to the Ski resort. We loved it all! Super clean and fully stocked! Looking forward to future stays! Joe was great!!”

“This home was absolutely beautiful, nestled away in the Pipestem State Park. It snowed the entire weekend and the host was gracious to give us great directions and assistance if anyone got stuck. Would recommend for a group ski trip to Winterplace!”
