B&B i Södra Cancun

"Även om hotellet är lite äldre och slitet så är det i ganska bra skick, då det har vissa renoveringar och allt var städat och rent. Pool områdena var bra och vattenparken för barn var väldigt fin. Fin badstrand. Maten var däremot inte så bra, med några undantag för vissa rätter på a la carte restaurangerna. "

"Overall a very good experience "

"Our recent stay at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was unfortunately quite disappointing, especially considering the high expectations we had based on its advertised family-friendly facilities. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its water park and waterslides, which we thought would be perfect for our children. However, these facilities were closed for 90% of our stay. Given that this was the highlight for us when booking, it was a major letdown and affected the entire experience. We also had high hopes for our honeymoon celebration. We requested a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room upon check-in, which the staff kindly acknowledged in their email communication prior to our arrival. Sadly, the champagne was not delivered as promised, and it was only after I emailed the front desk again that we finally received it—24 hours later. While the gesture was appreciated, the timing had already passed, and the moment was not quite the same. The lack of attention continued at check-out, where we were not even asked how our stay had been. This was quite surprising and left a negative final impression. I have never stayed at a hotel where staff didn’t show any interest in the guest’s experience upon departure. On the plus side, the beach was beautiful, and the Italian and Mexican restaurants offered good food, but room service was dry and flavorless. While some staff were friendly, communication in english was difficult. For us the experience was poor."

"This is a horrible hotel. Checkin process was a nightmare, huge lines to the desk and even though we were there at the checkin time we still had to wait an hour to get our room. The staff doesnt speak much english and most of them were'nt very friendly either. They don't honour their own opening hours in the bars or restaurants, which by the way serves very bad food. Breakfast buffe is a really LOUD and narrow where its impossible to get to the counters. You run into people everywhere. Food ok there though. We had a suite with pool access by the beach, but on our patio there was only one sunbed, so we asked 4 different people out of the staff if we could have one more (There were hundreds of unused sunbeds around the hotel) None of them understood and just referred to the front desk. The frontdesk says "not possible" so to use our own patio with semi-private pool only one of us could sunbathe at the time. Not very nice when you planned to keep to yourself and payed alot for this kind of room. This area is also supposed to be adult only, but no one in the staff makes sure this is followed so kids were swimming and running on our patio all the time. If you are thinking about having a shower, start it half an hour before and maybe you'll get hot water. And watch out for roaches! This place could have been so much better than it is. The property is beautiful and the beach is amazing. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else."
