“Absolutely perfect place to stay in Siesta Key. The studio was absolutely spotless, well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Inn premises was in nice condition, heated pool, grill, furniture, all worked really good. Close to the wonderful beach, and also close to the Village, with restaurants and shops. Paige and Gabe was soo nice to us, almost as old friends.”

“Like the specious living area. Laundry was convenient. But very noisy. Did not like that the code didnt work on the front door. They did not fix in the 6 days we were there. Great location. Beach isnt too far. ”

“The location and cleanliness was top notch. I would recomend to stay there.The description needs to be updated. It says the place has a murphy Bed. It doesn't. It has a blow up.matress.for the 3rd bed. That was a problem since i need 3 actual beds. I had 1 couple and two friends that didnt share a bed. The description made that not be a problem but it was a problem.. Other then the bed situation in the description it was very good. The description of any place is super important. That needs to...

“This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island and we loved it. The cottage exceeded our expectations and the pool area was a gem! We used the golf car to get around and went kayaking in the canal. Our 3 kids really enjoyed fishing on the Rod & Reel pier which is a 5 minute walk away. Thank you Dan & Goose for making our stay perfect. If we go back to AMI we will definitely stay at The Castaway Cottage again. ”

“Shell Cottage was cute as can be . It was very clean , beautifully decorated and well equipped. However; there is an alarm on the entry door that is ear shattering. The check-in information states it is part of the rental license rules which I understand. There was no grey box on the outside of the door which can be pressed to allow entry within 45 seconds before the alarm goes off. There was a button on the inside that allowed us to leave the cottage.. I’m not sure I would stay here again...

“We had a great atay here in the # 2 bungalow me and my wife . Great little place like Ol'FloridaEverything is new right behind a 7-11 which ended up being very handy. Across the street access to the beach and very quite after sunset couldn't ask for anything else after a great stay lay back and enjoy a vacation that this place will provide. “Everything was described accurately. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Dave communicated everything we needed to know. The only thing you could possibly dislike would be the road noise because the bedroom window faces toward Beach Road but Spring Break brings out activity into and out of the village until the bars close. ”

“Love this place. This was our 2nd stay here. Private 1/1 cottage, shared court yard area. Has a small patio on each cottage. 2 minute walk to beachside. Located right behind a 7-11, great for late night snacks and drinks. Simple parking for one car near each cottage. No randoms walking through property or yard. Shower is small but does the job. Full kitchen. Housekeeping ensures the home is clean and smelling fresh ”

“Clean, well equipped condo with the beach for the back yard. Great location, close to Publix and local shops, restaurants and beaches, Tammy was welcoming and responsive.”

“Everything was good- just didn’t realize there was no gym. Was looking to do a long term rental but that was a game changer. Also the parking is valet only and really quite a pain. Had to wait a long time for the car , but often they wouid leave the keys at the desk. But for long term purposes , this is not optimal ”

“Highly recommend this property. Our unit was very updated and had a full kitchen with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was great and heated and the beach access was within a few steps. The location was quaint but easily accessible and lots of dining options near by. Would stay here again. ”

A hotel below expectations

"We booked this because of its four stars and for the surroundings but was very dispointed - its not at all a four star establisment - It feels more a two or max a tree star Our room was dirty and our beddings had stains and for sure the rooms was small. The aircondition was broken so the sound was so noicy and even when we turned it of it didn´t stop sounding! I accually tried to find another hotel the first night but there are not so many options out there! I think this hotel is so over priced and overrated. Im so sorry to say that but i have to! The best part of the whole stay was the exellent staff that was so nice and kind ( they cant help the bad standard ) and the great breakfast that was included. We will not come back to this place and i would say if you are used to four star hotels in europe you wont like this place! "

Fräscht hotell med bra känsla

"Nytt och fräscht hotell med allt som vi, en familj med två små barn, behövde. Personalen var vänlig och gjorde det lilla extra för att vi skulle trivas vilket verkligen uppskattades. Trots att det ligger nära flygplatsen var det tyst inne på rummen. Frukosten var bra och gymmet tillräckligt för en kort vistelse. Rekommenderar hotellet starkt!"

"Stället är så mysigt, ligger nära vattnet längst ner på huvudgatan. Man får låna kylväska och solstol att ta med ner till stranden. Hotellet är litet men det var precis vad vi ville ha. Enda minus är att allt är i plast. På restaurangen eller i baren - plastglas, plastbestick osv. Gullig och hjälpsam personal."
