“This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”

“Accommodations were as described and complete. The cabin was very up to date as far as equipment and appliances. Kitchen was fully stocked, even with a variety of spices. You could literally come with just your clothes and toothbrush, toothpaste. Everything else was provided.”

“Only had time for 1 night. Place was clean and not far from Berkeley Springs. Hot tub at the end of a long was perfect ending.”

“The location is perfect, quiet and secluded however just minutes to a great state park with lots to do. And about 8 miles to town. The cabin itself is stunning, every amenity you can ask for. The hosts were so kind and responsive.”

“From the time of time of booking to the exit of our stay. Communication was great. Any questions we were answered within a hour. We met with Janin and she was genuine. She showed us the other cabin they have. They had a few surprises for us. First she had arrive treats. They we were gonored to have fresh eggs. I do love brown eggs. With all this said if you are lookin for a cabin in Berkeley Springs please get with Janin. We have found our to go place. We are planning our September 2025 vacation...

“Had a great time at this cabin, which was huge! Tons of room for everyone. We spent most of our time on the back deck. Everyone enjoyed this place. If you stay here, check out the overlook bench behind the house...up the hill. Great views up there!”

“First of all the owner and communication with him was fantastic and everything worked but that’s where the good part ends. The property does not look like the pictures. It was very dated and didn’t feel clean. There was no firewood for a fire, the grass was really high but the owner did have it mowed for us the next day, the downstairs bathroom had an old tub with a shower head on the ceiling but no curtain so showers were not an option down there, the closet doors in the main bedroom were...

“We loved our stay here. It was peaceful, just what we needed, and only 20mins away from Winchester if you want to go there. We enjoyed the local farmer’s markets, the pickleball court, and the house is beautiful. It has a fire pit, but we didn’t use it. Enjoy!”

“The cabin was nicely located on the river, but was a little loud at times from truck noise on the road. Interior was clean and comfortable. The code wasn't updated at check-in, and it took us about 5-10 minutes of standing outside at night to get it resolved. Also, the guest house lights randomly went on during our second evening and shone bright lights into the cabin. Manager did not respond until the next morning.”

“We enjoyed our stay. It is cozy but a great view. We liked the wood burning stove. We brought our own wood. There was some wood on the property but needed to be split. Back deck and front screen porch are very nice. Instructions to get in and out of the property were clear and easy. We look forward to returning. Thank you, Greg Richards”
