“Overall the house was great for our gathering. Some attention needs to be given to the water pressure in the bathrooms and kitchen, eyes on the stove, kitchen/dining room flooring and the leak in the living room ceiling. ”

“The house was nice and clean. Simple to find and get in. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet at night. The only negatives concerns I would raise are 1. A street or two over seems like a rough area. Run down. 2. There is a rental in the back yard we were not, aware of . Two guys walked out of the back yard as we were unloaded the car. It was a puzzling until we realized the situation. Other than that everything was fine. ”

“The property owner was very quick to reply to any questions prior to our arrival. The property has so much character, and each room tells it own story. I loved the hardwood floors, and my toddler had a ball playing with his trucks because we've carpeted floors! Just beware the bathroom is extremely cold, and there was no heat source in the bathroom that I could find, so there was no soaking in the tub. Come to think of it, I didn't notice any vents. That was the reason I gave it 4/5 stars...

“Perfect place to spend the weekend (or a week or 2). When it was raining we spent the day on the screened in porch. Would definitely visit again. Nicest property on the river available to rent.”

“The two adjoining properties were perfect for our family gathering to celebrate an 80th birthday. Our group ranged from 9-82 years old and everyone had a great time and enjoyed the accommodations.”
