The Aster is a recently updated 1930's home in Prime Thomas Square/Streetcar Historic District. Truly live like a local in this super trendy neighborhood, just a few blocks from the famous Forsyth Park and a gorgeously scenic walk (or quick Uber) to the River. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants, and best hidden gems. This luxe home has tons of character with original 100yr-old pine hardwood floors and impressive 10-ft. ceilings, along with whimsical touches throughout.

Absolutely beautiful location!
My husband and I and our two dogs decided to go to Savannah for a getaway. The check-in was seamless, the location of the property was very quiet people wise there was traffic going up and down the street, typical. The property was so cute, had everything we could ever need, including a washer dryer. Loved the Keurig machine in the morning. When we go back to Savannah, I hope this property will still be available for us to visit.

Great stay!
Despite first impressions of the area the place was very quiet. Not far from downtown Savannah (10 minute drive). Place was clean and very roomy for 2 people. Would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!
The house was extremely clean, well appointed kitchen! Perfect little yard! Walking distance to plenty of shops & dining options! Will be back when we visit our daughter at school & would definitely stay here again!

Mu daughter and I stayed at The Aster and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. And it was easy to navigate to anywhere we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean and Simple
This VRBO was overall a very clean and simple layout. The only space that did not feel as clean as the rest of the house was the shower. We enjoyed walking to parks, coffee shops, and dinner. Most places were at least half a mile away. Strange Bird (our favorite place we ate) was only a couple blocks. This home was also safe for our 13 month old who likes to explore. We were not worried about her getting hurt. There were not child locks on the cleaning cabinets but we just watched her and since the house was so small she did not get far without us knowing. Aside from the slightly unclean shower, our only other complaint was that there were no lamps in any of the rooms. When it came to be dark outside it was not pleasant to sit in the living room with our friends or in our bedroom with the overhead lights on. We would ask the hosts to consider having at least one lamp in each of the bedrooms and one in the living room. I had read that there were sound machines in the rooms but I did not see them. Thankfully we had brought one for our baby so we were able to sleep well because there is a lot of road noise at night.

Cute and cozy
The house was modern and just as it was described. It is within walking distance to Forsythe and other local favorites. The patio furniture outside and fenced in area was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the warm weather. The only negative was the thin walls- a fan for white noise helps. It was perfect for the price and pet friendly!

This was our second stay in Savanah, this time we had,to bring our dog,Savanah ia very dog friendly and same with the house. Home is quant and comfortable.

Convient but noisy
-We chose this property because we wanted to be in the historic district so we could walk to our booked tours. It was great for us becausse we like to walk (sometimes a mile from our booked tour). If you are not a walker plan on needing to drive and deal with parking. -While the house was fairly clean, it was noisy due to traffic on Barnard street. -The house had an off street parking place which was great. The beds were vey comfortable and sleeping would have been perfect if not for the road noise. -lastly, we are seniors and would advise people our age to be aware of trip hazards due to transition striips for wood floor and no grab bars in the bathroom. -

Great trip to visit family
Nice small house. Had everything we needed. Loved the private patio area. The one bathroom is not connected to either bedroom but it was just us so we didn’t care. We were so close to a handful of restaurants, some shopping, and Forsyth park. We drove to dinner downtown.

perfect spot to visit
Host is very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Best part is that it is pet friendly, our dogs enjoyed the trip also. Parking was easy also. The only slight negative is there's a fire station about 2 blocks away and the sirens were loud when they went off. Our dogs never heard them before so they would bark but after the first night it didn't seem to bother them. I would highly recommend The Aster.

Savannah Weekend
Just the right kind of place for a quick weekend. Except for road noise, the house was perfect. Everything was new, beds were comfortable great a/c and ceiling fans in every room. Amanda was quick to respond to messages.

Cute and Updated
Very cute and clean, had everything we could need. Easy to get everywhere we needed to from there and very convenient to my student's dorm. It did get quite loud on Saturday night, but this may have been due to first weekend back for SCAD.
