“Tongue and grooved knotty pine, Leathered granite counters, views of the water from every angle. High end amenities, a perfect place to unwind. High end flooring throughout with heated tile floors in the bathrooms and utility/wash room. An amazing place to stay on San Juan, perfectly situated between Friday harbor and Roche harbor. “This is the third time we’ve stayed at the Heron House, and there’s multiple reasons for that:-The house is still clean and beautiful -The location is still awesome-Communication with the hosts is still fantastic-The neighborhood is still quietIt’s honestly a huge part of why we come back to San Juan Island. We refer to the Heron House as “our house” because it feels like home every time we check in. I can’t imagine staying somewhere else!”

“I enjoy the off-season in resort areas so enjoy coming to Orcas Island in February. This house is cozy and comfy, and I’ve rented it 4 of the last 5 years, which ought to say something! You can’t beat the location! Note to Sandi , the owner tho: you need to provide a snow shovel and bag of ice melter/rock salt. ”

“The property location was perfect. The house and amenities were an absolute dream. We stayed on the property for 2 out of our 3 day stay and were never bored. We bought groceries off the island to save money and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The wildlife, hot tub, deck and sauna was enough entertainment.
