Greenbrier River Home With River Frontage


This home is located right on the Greenbrier River with lots of outdoor space. Has a double balcony for river views, fire pit, swing and kayaks for use. 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Also has a sofa bed and 2 rolling/fold up twin beds. Full kitchen, dining room, 2 family rooms, laundry room and fireplaces. Located in Roncevert, just 15 minutes to White Sulphur Springs and The Greenbrier Resort, 6 miles to Lewisburg- voted one of the coolest small towns in America and close to the WV state fairgrounds. Not to mention the trails, hiking, fishing...beautiful WV mountains. A true retreat!

Lovely property
This property is very clean. It looks just like the pictures. We were able to check in early. Very cute and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were in the area!

Lovely river view
Nice house right on the river. Beautiful views; loved spending most of our time on the balconies. And a lovely town with easy access to Lewisburg and several natural attractions. There is a sawmill across the river and it was noisy early in the morning and late into the evening. But that was the only downside

This property was great for our family of five, kids ranging from 7-13. The view on the river was amazing. It was pretty low while we were there so perfect for our kids to enjoy the kayaks and tubes to paddle and float around all day as well as just walk across the river. (Bring water shoes to save your feet!) The lawn is a steep climb but the river access was awesome. The house had plenty of sleeping options and many amenities in the kitchen. Would love to come back with more friends, just not a huge parking area and it would be difficult to maneuver anything larger than an SUV in the driveway. Stores for groceries and necessities are just a few minutes away towards Lewisburg on 219. There were a couple little shops in Roncevert. Would definitely go back to check out more in Lewisburg. The Roncevert Island Park between the house and town would be great for younger children with river access, ball fields, a large playground, and a splash pad! [In Lewisburg: Briergarten and Hill & Holler (AMAZING pizza) were great local restaurants for dinner and fun vibes and local music. Biscuit World was great for breakfast.]

McHeck Family Vacation 2024
It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful home and location for our family vacation. It had everything we forgot to bring and the kids played for hours by the river. Highly recommend this home in West Virginia!

Great week on the river!
We loved the river access and the kayaks were great fun for the kids. The host was quick to respond to all communication. The only issue we had was no air conditioning downstairs. The kitchen was downstairs and our kids slept down there. It was super hot. We purchased a fan which helped, and by morning it would cool off. Cooking in the kitchen really heated up the downstairs. It was the only down side to the entire stay. There are 2 window air conditioners upstairs in the bedrooms. There were plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware for meals, and the location was great! We loved Lewisburg and enjoyed just being on the water. We had extreme temperatures the week we visited, which is not the norm as well. It really contributed to the heat downstairs. We would still stay here again!

Weekend trip with friends
The house was great! Had everything you could need. I see what another tenant was talking about on another review . The noise from the recycling center. We did not hear it all weekend but come Monday… whew! you knew it was there. No fault of the owners for sure! The driveway is a little tricky but doable. The locals are friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic WV getaway!

Perfect early Fall getaway
Not going to be very long winded, but this place is great. Perfect location. Lewisburg has a decent food scene, Greenbrier is obviously a prime attraction, and tons of great spots in New Rover Gorge. This house is percentile located in the middle of that, on the river.

We really enjoyed our stay The river views from the porches are great! The house is clean and airy and very convenient to the grocery store. The porches need a few more chairs, and only having a Keurig coffee maker is inconvenient for groups

Great little place!
Very clean, organized and prepared with good quality linens/towels. Great backyard on the river with a swing to enjoy nature. Our teens even found their way out to the swing to enjoy the scenery. Definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Greenbrier River House
This house is right on the beautiful Greenbrier River in Ronceverte WV. Two decks allow for relaxing and watching the river. There are kayaks, grills and fire pits. We fished and swam in the river and used the kayaks So much fun. Great for kids! Can’t wait to go back !

Great with a few suggestions
Very nice clean home with a great view of the river. There are many amenities, more than I've seen in any other home we have stayed in. On the down side, the drive/parking area was a challenge! Note to host, we came home with(by mistake) 2 plastic food containers. Give me an address and l'll send them back.

This property had a beautiful view from the balconies. Lots of convienences in the kitchen.
Our stay was absolutely what our family needed. We did visit a state park and cidery, but the VRBO gave a great ti e to catch up with each other and visit. The river was warm and beautiful, even was able to catch a couple of fish.

Gem on the River!!
What a great house and property! We found a gem on the river here. We were visiting family and this place was a welcome homestead to return to. Everything was pristine and the amenities were perfect. There are kayaks and tubes available and fishing gear as well. Both back porches were perfect perches for morning coffee and evening drinks and BBQ. The picnic table and bench by the river were ideal for just hanging out. The owner was lovely and responded quickly. We’d definitely book again next time we visit the area. Highly recommended!!

River paradise!
We wanted a house on the river and we got it! Such a lovely view from the home down the sloping hill to the water! It is quite steep so you need good grip shoes. Sitting on the deck with a good cup of coffee each morning was so relaxing and wish we were back there now!
