“I hosted a 60th birthday dinner for my husband at a nearby rec hall. This home was the perfect place for me to cook and prepare all the food for my husband's dinner. It was a great spot to sit with family and fellowship. The only issue I had was that the downstairs bathroom shower handle is not on correctly. You have to turn it towards the blue and its really slippery.There were a few spiderwebs and the steps leading to upstairs are really steep. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay...

“This is a nice place to stay with room to relax. There are a couple of things that could make it more comfortable though. It’s in a large apartment complex and the hallway noise is really noticeable. It woke me up at night. If the door to the unit closed securely and some rugs were added to the floor it would help. Perhaps some wall art, more furniture or other home accoutrements would help dampen the noise too. It’s pretty spartan inside. There are no hairdryers in the bathrooms or iron to use....

“We throughly enjoyed staying at Charlie’s by the Bay. The location is amazing, walking distance to great restaurants and Lake St Clair. We've stayed in MANY vrbo's over the years but I feel "hugged" when we come here. The place is comfortable and decorated nicely, practical kitchen and laundry but for me, it's little things that set Charlie's apart ... foil, baggies, detergent, paper towels, trash bags, night lights, kleenex, shampoo, bandaids ... so thank you!! We've really enjoyed staying...

“We were in town for a wedding so had 4 adults and 3 kids with us. The house is very quaint and beautiful. There was plenty of room for us all. We saw deer in the back yard in the morning. It is a great location in downtown Oxford. We walked to the park where there was a live band playing and a lot of towns folk watching, they had several areas for kids including a balloon artist and cotton candy. “We came to Michigan for a wedding. Since our six people included three different families, we needed an extra bed. I asked the host if he had an air mattress and extra sheets that we could borrow. He said yes. What I didn’t know is that he had to purchase both items for us!! Talk about going above and beyond!!! I was so grateful. I also asked if we could check out a little later which he permitted. The host made our stay in Michigan wonderful! Great job!!”
