“The room was clean and spacious - perfect for a weekend of skiing. Snowshoe is about a 35-40min drive, but the roads are wide enough compared to others. We had four people, but easily could’ve had a fifth in the room. There’s a mini fridge and coffee maker, but the microwave is in the office. There’s a gas station next door which was convenient for a quick, hot breakfast to go as well as some energy drink, which is cheaper than buying at Snowshoe. “Love the location! Disliked the elevator not working and the we were on the 4th floor…. Luggage was a nightmare. Our room had one toilet paper roll and no one to call for more, they charge for towels to be switched out. Was not that impressed with Rimfire. ”

“Pros:The location for skiing was perfect; you could walk right out of the locker room to the ski area. The restaurants and staff were super friendly. Cons:The parking was a hike, and dropping off your luggage was challenging. We had a difficult time trying to find check-in for the Expedition Station. Overall, it was a clean, safe, and amazing location!”

“The place was clean and as pictured. It's a good location in the village and walking distance of lifts. You can drive up and unload the car in the skidder parking lot, and the building offers luggage carts to easily tote stuff to and from car. “The room was great for 5 of us. You can't beat the location of the room; bottom floor right near the exit, you can walk out and get straight on the mountain. The property itself is a little out dated but perfectly great for a few 20-something year olds to enjoy a weekend on the slopes. We had no problems checking in and no problems with the cleanliness of the place. ”

The furniture and stove could use some updating but the price we paid compared to some of the other units we've stayed in at Snowshoe was fair. “The location was great. There was a ski lift right outside. It had everything we needed. Definitely cozy, but nicely renovated. I would stay there again. Only downside is the internet is a little spotty and cell service is limited in the area, just something to know before you go. Molly in the shop downstairs is awesome and there is a restaurant and bar downstairs too. ”
