“This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. ”

It was a terriable experience.There were bugs in that room.In the morning my wife saw the bug which climbed to her arm.she got bitten in arm,chest,leg and waist.it was bloody.we asked half of the price back.but they refused.It is totally low and respectless. It was noisy outside.The room smelled moldy and strange.the carpet and toilet were dirty.We darenot speak in the room.because we can hear clearly the couple speaking in another room.There was no breakfast...

“With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable. Friendly bar staff providing a good selection of wines, beers and spirits at sensible prices. The restaurant menu is perfect. Simple and straightforward choice and the food is the same, just perfect.”

“The low rating is entirely due to the extremely uncomfortable bed. It was very soft and "wobbly," and I did not get much sleep over two nights. Otherwise, the place was okay, given the price. One positive was the access to a fully equipped kitchen.”

“What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. ”

Small and tight

"The hotel looked nicer in the pictures than it was in reality. Very small and worn rooms, which were damp and uncomfortable. The room was very sensitively. No paintings or any color. The bathroom was disgusting with a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet seat. Very cramped bathroom with an old and worn shower. The double bed was only 140 cm wide. Too narrow for two persons. The public areas looked nice, but they also need renovation. The breakfast was Quitos limited. Canned tomatoes and no scrambled eggs. Only two choices of cereal. The staff were helpful and accommodating. No hair dryer, had to borrow at the reception. Cobwebs, spiders and gray sows in the room. Good and large parking. Good Wi-Fi"
