“Gorgeous location, room had a balcony overlooking the waves crashing onto rocks below. Easy access to beach, 5 minute walk at most. Snorkeling and diving nearby, restaurants in walking distance. Very quiet and relaxing. Really comfortable bed and room. Not a lot of space to store clothing, what was provided doesn't really work for hanging anything other than shirts, but we figured it out. “We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“We had a great stay at cane bay with Kathy's rental. It was super clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The location was great so we could walk to cane bay beach to snorkel with turtles easily as well as eat at the Landing and Ama. “We had a very nice time at this condo. It is in a beautiful spot with the pool and beach! Unfortunately, it was extremely windy for our whole stay so we didn't get to go on our snorkel tour or snorkel at the beach, but, you can't control the weather! The condo is well equipped and clean and David was very responsive to our requests and prompt with replies. The condo is very dated but that was addressed in another review. I would love to come back once the renovations are done!”

We liked the central location which is 10 minutes to Cane Bay and Carambola and 20 minutes to Fredriksted. Estate River is private and quiet. “We've stayed near Cane Bay 3 times now and this was our favorite property and best experience so far. The house is private, gated, and just 2 minutes from Cane Bay and the local bars and restaurants.
