“Fishermans Cot is situated in a truly beautiful position beside the River Exe. Many of the roads in the area are very narrow and demading, especially if you are unable to occasionally reverse on meeting a caravan in tow or a wide vehicle. Food at the hotel was good in quality apart from the Continental Breakfast that had a poor and very limited variety of items. Staff were very friendly and attentive; accommodation warm, clean and comfortable and overall value and eg bar prices competitive. ”

“This was our second visit to the Mole, we stayed in the hotel, in the manor suite for our anniversary weekend. The room was amazing, private sauna and steam room, separate lounge, more like an apartment. Very Comfy. The resort itself is beautiful and all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We have booked a week to go back and try one of the lodges this time with the whole family. ”

“Staff were friendly and very professional, nothing was too much trouble for them. They also had good knowledge of Ilfracombe and gave good advice on where to go, what to see, and knew what was happening (i.e. where local bands were playing etc) at night time. My room was clean, tidy, warm, with a lovely power shower. If i had to 'nitpick' i am quite a large person, but, my shower was quite small. However, this would not put me off from booking again and recommend to family and friends. ...

“We requested two doublerooms but we got two singelrooms. The rooms were not three star quality, they had no refrigerator, no aircondition, and the decor looked like it was from the 70s. The staff was nice, but the management was not.”

“The lodge totally surpassed our expectations. It was spacious, well thought out and as far as self catering units go, this HAS to be the most considerate and superbly equipped. They literally have thought of everything! Bravo Moley Moley and the views are wonderful On the downside, if you get noisy neighbours be prepared to complain. “Stayed for one night. Situated in quiet residential area. Good service, but rooms (more precisely the carpet) did not feel clean. Nice garden to dine and drink in. Good breakfast. Worth the money.”
