“A little way out of town but only a few minutes in a hire car. We were met at the airport with the car and shown the way to the units. Having the car organised by the motel made everything simple but the car was rather old and a bit battered. OK for the very short drives on the island. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and, being near the centre of Burnt Pine, we were only minutes walk from the supermarket and the Bowling Club. Great view from the veranda. 10 min walk from town centre Local mobile phone provided as Australian phones do not work on Norfolk Island and no global roaming. Good internet for WhatsApp”

“Brilliant property. They thought of everything and supplied items like continental breakfast, beach towels, good quantities of washing powder and dish washer tablets. Lots of tea towels- even full rolls of gladwrap,Alf oil and baking paper. The cooking facilities were great. We could cook meals like we were at home. “If it wasn’t for the good natured Tima, the resort mgr,, then I probably would be somewhat hesitant in staying. I used half a can of mortein with 3 cockroaches in the bathroom walls and one scurrying across the bed head ledge on my first night. Then l had clusters of ants in my luggage so when I took clothing out each day, t would have to shake it out. There are no provided drawers for clothing.
