“It is supposed to be the best hotel in Aswan and the hotel is OK, but not ordinary Mövenpick standard. The food was OK and the room was OK, but nothing extra. It is not very clean, but I have seen much worse in Egypt.. The most disturbing was the sound at 5 a.m. from the Mosque. The hotel should have sound proof windows.”

“The hotel staff are amazing. We were upgraded on arrival and the room view and location were excellent. The breakfast buffet was huge and fantastic. But here’s the problem with this hotel. It’s old. It needs a proper refurbishment. The decor looks like it’s from the 1990s and that’s why I think it’s overpriced. It’s more of a 4 star hotel than a 5. ”

“Villa Misk must have the best view in Assuan! The Light show of Temple of Philae is visible from the balcony. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Easy to find by car.”

“This resort is huge and very beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We scheduled an early morning pickup luggage at 5:45am. The guy was very punctual and polite. We were luck to spent one night at Azal for our Abu Simbel Trip.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Kato Waidi Nubian House. The staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They arranged all our transportation smoothly and made our stay completely stress-free. The traditional grilled dinner was excellent and felt very authentic. We highly recommend staying a couple of days to experience and explore the more traditional side of Nubian life.”

“Der Reiseführer Mina war großartig. Er hat uns auf anschauliche Art und Weise die alte ägyptische Geschichte erklärt. Die Ausflüge und Transfers haben reibungslos geklappt. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff - die Nile Jewel - bot ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist ein älteres Schiff aber es war sauber und das Essen reichhaltig und gut.”

“Nous avons voyager avec nos deux enfants, à notre arrivée : il n'y avait pas de lit pour eux dans la chambre mais uniquement un lit double. Nous avons été ensuite surclassé. Les piscines étaient fermés, les extérieurs n'étaient pas nettoyé de sorte que sous 30° nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Le restaurant sur place est à éviter .. Totalement décu.”
