We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. “Hotel is located really far from the city. Taxis are not finding location. It is on the middle of a slum very unsafe. Restaurants are none existing and you have to eat on the hotel which is super expensive and have only 2 options to choose. Kebab or spaghetti ”

“The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. The hotel is located in New Aswan, a lot of the tour companies will not pick you up. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle to their sister hotel in Old Aswan for free. Overall, a really good experience. ”

“Villa Misk must have the best view in Assuan! The Light show of Temple of Philae is visible from the balcony. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Easy to find by car.”

“The shuttle is really convenient because it is far away from the airport. It is a tiny place, nothing fancy or luxurious. The people are super kind and helpful. The restaurant near the Nile is beautiful, and the food is so tasty. If you like to disconnect from everything with no pretension, this is the place. It needs a bit of maintenance, but it is a comfortable place.”

“This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown. ”
