“The guest house is an old farm, like most places on countryside Iceland. It was nice, but actually I had higher expectations because of the hefty price and extremely high ratings. They made our beds but did not do our small dishes. ”

“This was an amazing motel. The kitchen had every utensils that we needed during our stay. Even though it was basically in the middle of nowhere, the car ride into Selfoss didn’t feel that long (the view is making it feel closer). The only negative I have to say is that the beds were rock hard, but we solved it by sleeping on the extra comforters from the bunk beds. I would highly recommend this motel, and I’ll consider another stay if I come back to the same area. ”

“We were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland. But think about this! The GPS address provided by Hotels.com is incorrect and only leads to an empty road intersection. Hotels.com also gives the address of the town of Selfoss, which is not entirely correct. “The Westman Islends are an amazing area and a must do in Iceland. The hotel exceeded our expectations and the manager was unbelievably helpful. Only 2 disadvantaged that would not stop me from returning. Although the beds are very comfortable there is barely enough space to get out of bed:) and that could be a problem for heavier people especially when using the bathroom at night.
