Well-decorated Guest Apartment for business or leisure nestled in the heart of the historic Person St/Mordecai area, a few blocks walk from the most popular restaurants and watering holes (i.e. Standard Beer + Food Brewpub, Yellow Dog Bread, Wine Authorities, The Station). Guests can come and go as they please from private entrance. This New Orleans inspired over the garage apt oozes charm and "a little extra" hospitality. You'll love the location- walkable to the best establishments!
The space
This charming open-concept guest studio is ideal for those interested in convenient, stylish comfort. Inside the suite, a coffee bar is the perfect space to charge up before heading out for the day! The living area features a large flat screen TV with cable. Relax into the large modern seating and enjoy catching up on the daily news or your favorite shows! After a busy day and night, retreat to the Queen sized sleigh bed and cozy up for a solid night of sleep before your next day of exploring or working! Location is everything! From this home, you'll be in the perfect spot to explore Raleigh as if you were a local "Downtowner". Nestled in an established neighborhood, surrounded by sidewalks and parks, this house is in a great spot for exploring on your feet. Walk to the Person St area or Seaboard Station for casual and fine dining, fitness centers, wine shops and gardening and gift shops!
The location places endless opportunities for exploration right at your footsteps! You'll find world-class museums, performing arts venues and highly rated locally sourced dining!
Extra bed cushion is stored in the closet.

Guests have complete privacy and access to the guest suite with a separate entrance. Queen bedroom and tiled bathroom, kitchenette area with minifridge, micro and keurig!
Other things to note
Please review your check-in directions prior to arrival. The entrance to the is located around back of the main house.
There is one flight of stairs to enter the apartment (not handicapped accessible).
Complimentary items are for the use of my guests while staying at my home!

Highly recommend

Great spot. Was initially confused as I didn't understand it was a loft separate from main house but great. Only cons are if you want to cook, it's just a kitchenette and parking is a little tough. Other than those, would highly recommend

Location, amenities, and apartment great

The apartment and location are great. But the carpet on the stairs going up to the loft smelled horrendous like dog urine. If they get the carpet replaced I would of gave it 5 stars.

Weekend Stay

Very clean and nice property. We didn’t need a kitchen or anything other than a place to go after our weekend course was done for the day. This was a great property for that and the host is very nice!

Perfect Location, Great Host!

I had such a great experience at this location. The area is quiet, beautiful, safe, and so close to some amazing places. Jolies, pizza, bars, wineries, parks, everything just a few blocks away. I’m not a walking kind of person and took the scooter often but if you enjoy walking, go for it. The host brought me extra hangers, brought in a bigger tv during my stay, and made sure I had parking vouchers. Anything I needed she was there for me each time. Overall my experience was awesome!! Super clean, organized, and luxurious. The bed was really comfortable which was the most important thing for me during my stay. I will be booking this apartment again when I come back!!!

The loft stay

The property was very nice in a fantastic location for a weekend visit. There is no parking on the property, you must park on the street in front of the house lf a space is available otherwise you have to park on a nearby street. Owner does Provide 2 hour parking passes. The only entrance to the loft is through her garage and you enter through the 16 foot garage door and then unlock another door and climb about 20 stairs to the loft. The alleyway between house is not very well lighted just intimidating. Price was right that the only reason we stayed.
