Spahotell i Puk Tian

"This was a horrible hotel with an even worse service. We had booked a 3 night stay, but left after 1 night. The first room we received felt very old and outdated and very poorly cleaned, not to mention the black mold in the bathroom. I called the reception and asked for a new room which we received after some discussion. The second room was slightly better with updated furniture, but the cleanliness (or lack of it) was the same. There was also black mold in this bathroom. But we decided to give the hotel a chance and headed down to the pool. The water in the pool was so dirty that there was brown foam floating around the edges. The water was cloudy due to wrong PH-level and you noticed right away this was not a very pleasant area to be in. The restaurant had a nice menu, but half of the meals were not available because they were sold out. The service in the restaurant was very slow and they even managed to forget one of our meals (which we cancelled after waiting for 40 min and the rest of our party was finished). This hotel has a 4-star rating but I would give it a 2+ at the most. I don’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel even if it’s cheap. There is no service, sharp edges on many tiles around the pool and the total state of the hotell felt very old and outdated. The was no beach, but a stone staircase leading down to the ocean. The stone slabs of the staircase was covered with algae and was absolutely impossible to walk on without slipping. "

"My family (with a baby, toddler, teenager and adults) , had a fantastic stay over Christmas at the Veranda resort in Hua-Hin - Cha Am. Excellent service and with a most beautiful location right at the beach. We had 2 suites by the pool and one room with a veranda and a stunning view over the ocean. We'll definitely come back!! "

"Hotellet var allt vi hade önskat oss men det finns inget att göra utanför hotellområdet. Från orten Cha Am ner till Hoa Hin går en 4-filig motorväg i flera mil där lyxhotellen ligger på rad från vägen ut till den enormt långa sandstranden men det finns inga restauranger runt omkring utan antingen äter man på hotellet eller så åker man in till Hoa Hin. Hotellet beboddes av främst asiater och eftersom dom skyr solen så såg man väldigt få gäster under dagen för dom kommer ut för att bada när solen har börjat gå ner. Det blir en lyxig känsla men tråkigt."
